  • What was it and would you rate it?

    Chernobyl diaries.

I gave it 1 out of 5 bananas

The last film I watched was so awful that I can’t remember anything about it, even the name.

But I’ll recognise it if I don’t see it again.

    The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

    was pretty sick tbf.

    hobbit was good.

Last film I saw that was good was django. I don’t like old quentin as a person but he does know how to direct a good film which is a rare thing these days

Haven’t seen Django yet I need to ‘acquire’ it, i’ll get on that tonight.

Django is a great film, Quentin is a bell end though. Ermm last film I saw I can’t actually remember :s

Princess mononoke, definitely one of the top five best animated movies of all time.

    Rum Diary

    Bloody. Good. Film. Sir

    Argo

Dont watch many films anymore, seen all the old good ones, and 99.9% of new releases are simply consumed and forgotten, tend to go for TV series’ now, they are just as production line as the movies but at least they last a lot longer…………..

Got ‘Wreck it Ralf’ for my niece & nephew when babysitting a few weeks back, they both loved it, and I actually enjoyed it too

    Wreck-It Ralph (2012) – IMDb

Saving Ryans Privates. Wasn’t as good as I thought it would be to be honest.

the lyrics of the song used for a soundtrack is some old Dutch hippy singing that all living creatures should live in peace.

Which to be fair they’ve done a very good job of (the ganzenparadijs has merged with various other animal shelters so that they can share resources in hard economic times) and made excellent use of a piece of flat, muddy and very windy land in Drenthe.

I hear they sometimes fill up the moat to keep the stoner tourists that manages to blag the system from freaking out at the sight of massive weird multicolored marshmellows with tv’s in their stomachs, hense why the pic and the vid have slightly different surroundings.

On Dutch wikipedia they explain how its a normal British farm and that the background is altered with CGI to hide the sheep and the electricity pylons (this is not mentioned on the English version). Maybe Dutch children aren’t as easily fooled as British ones.
