I used to go to this every year (being a Cambridge boy born and bred).

Been to many raves afterwards as well!

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) I have tickets to see Greenday at Emirates stadium that weekend. Would actually have been feasible to go as I could stay at me old Ma’s house. Bah! Get in p0ly mate, I’ve been to strawberry fair on much acid and other drugs many, many times. Have a good’un.

Hopefully greenday wont play too much from the last two albums ! I would love to of seen their american idiot tour that was such a good show…great live band.

Strawberry fields looks good to, but Im saving moneys for that psy party 🙂

only two arrests for 30 000 people (I doubt that everyone was 100% sober/drug free either) which is impressive as it means that folk were smart enough not to be too bait/blatant about their drug/alcohol use and behaviour (which was what nearly fucked it up big time and came close to getting it locked off in the late 2000s).

The afterparty used to be great but think they have really clamped down. Hope you have fun sure you will. OB everywhere just to warn you though sure you know.

its already happened (without too many bad incidents) but the afterparties were all stopped or heavily downsized years ago. to be fair especially as EDL were trying to target the event to protest against it (because its multicultural) the organisers and locals have done a good job keeping it safe.

Shame, the after party was one of the best raves I ever went to.
