For some reason, a home or office with art on the wall offers that wonderful elegance, that one-of –a kind look. It has that finished touch. Unfortunately, most people can’t afford original fine art – and most artists can’t afford to go without selling their art. So what is the meet-in –the-middle solution? How can people get the look and feel of original art work at a fraction of the price? The solution is really quite simple. It lies in the commercialization of the Giclee.
Firstly, the Punjab has not been part of the UK for over 65 years. Secondly, count yourselves lucky that its the middle of the night in the country where the company actually doing this viral marketing is based or I’d even consider ringing them up (and their trade regulators) to give them a bollocking for this underhand marketing tactic (as they seem to be otherwise reputable to be fair).
Thirdly if an artist anywhere in the world had wanted to sell their pictures openly and honestly (also admitting they were injket copies rather than the original, not all local “artists” do this and many re-sell existing on line pics in pretty frames) there wouldn’t be a problem. its not that new a technique (etchings previously were used before the Japanese developed the high quality inkjet printers) but should be sold honestly like any other art…
it came from here, this company to be fair is actually doing the right thing when it comes to selling these reproductions..
