Autoimmune diseases do not affect your genes or DNA. You genes may carry an increased risk of autoimmune deficiency (which is how it gets transmitted from one generation to the next) but having the disease will not do anything to your genes. So you can get thyroid disease from your parents. Does anyone here have experience of these issues?
there are so many autoimmune diseases and you can’t treat them as one, not even doctors can always explain whatwhere they come from and why they attack some people and not other, so saying that they don’t have any long term affect is just bull shit.
I have an autoimmune disease and nobody know where it comes from and the long time affect of it.
you really start £%&##*- me off
Mine gave me large holes in the knees and problems with the zipper.
Oh, sorry. Genes. Thought you meant Jeans.
I’ll shut up now.
So should you!
