This is a particularly good article and worth reading even if you are relatively healthy and have never been in prison (nor at any risk of ending up there).
I admit myself although I had a very good family upbringing and was never violent/aggressive towards close family members, animals or those whom I considered friends, it really was (and to a lesser extent still is) merely the fact that “prison is boring, and I can do better things with my life at this time” that has kept me on the right track.
