it does look backwards but I guess that in DK (and most of mainland Europe) the law is if you crash anything with wheels into a pedestrian that you can be pulled up for it, that is at least a decent wide bike lane with space to move quickly if needed and if there is still a crash if will be at relatively low speed with only minor injuries.
in that area all they need to do is stop the bus for a bit longer and haul everyone involved and the bike inside it (there seems to be plenty of room); after all it is going to the hospital anyway 😉
I’m not sure about UK but in Denmark the bikeriders think the own the city. I can’t really understand it is that way because a lot of people get killed in Denmark when trucks take a right turn and miss a cyclist or if the cyclish drive so fast they don’t have a chance avoiding them. Bike riders in Denmark think they are invincible and some get killed every year but the drivers always get blamed because they are heavy trafic.
Old people coming out of the bus with their zimmerframes are most likely to get hurt, and some busdrivers warn the people getting out if he sees a bike. I don’t like bikeriders in the big cities in Denmark. They have no respect for anybody else.

The same occurs in all large cities; the people doing it often commit the same or worse traffic offences in cars and often get involved in other crimes such as fighting/hooliganism.
I’ve often suspected the reason the Dutch bikes are made big, heavy and slow (although reliable) is deliberate, as I can read their 112 news website and they seem to crash anything that has wheels.
When I grew up in SE England there was this policeman who always rode about on his bike (he preferred it to going double crewed in a patrol car), he was around when I was high schook and only retired when I was in my 30s. In my late teens/20s we hung around in a sort of gang (it wasn’t a very bad gang, some mischief and drug taking but no real crime or violence).
There was ths field just by the river, where we would hide in a corner and smoke whatever hash/weed we could get. And he would often be there and every one of us on bicycles would be pulled (as it is a communal field shared for everyone and you should only wheel your bike down the river bank; it is forbiden to ride it down the hill. If my mates did that or had defect brakes, missing lights they’d get a telling off and it would get them more likely to be searched by other officers. But if your bike was in good order, you got left alone.
He was smart; he knew that all of us were going to smoke cannabis and possibly take other drugs, but that wasn’t as harmful as one of us crashing our bikes into another person in the park leading to one or both going into a deep, cold river (the Thames) than many people drown in (about 130 per year, 80 in metpol and 50 in TVP regions). So he concentrated on what was the real danger.
Im in LA! Im looking for desert parties and I am all PLUR since ’03. My name is Sky

Yeah! I’m in LA so I’m close to you! You know when I first moved here a few years ago, I didn’t know anybody or know of forums like these, so you know what I did? I started using my flow toys to my advantage at raves. I’d play with my vertical vortex and pass it back and forth to others and I managed to meet so many people and make so many raver friends through that physical connection (which, honestly, isn’t that what raving is all about?) Hopefully we can dance together soon!
