I’m talking games that were broken or almost broken when they came out, and you won’t find a good score on them in any review anywhere, but through official or unofficial patches has become a good game.
Kind of like might and magic 9, which I guess was released is a horrible mess but now has a fan patch that supposedly makes it playable and fun? Or temple of elemental evil, which seems to have gotten remade by fans.
I’m always looking for hidden gems to play. And I assume that no one reviews games post-patch.
