Been looking around, haven’t really found this question being asked. This is not a hate / troll posts, as yes, I am a fattie (5’4″ at 280 lbs).

I never really been to a rave because looking at videos, Facebook pictures and etc., I don’t really see any fat people in them. All pretty fit, good looking people. Not one fattie, even way in the background anywhere.

I finally took the plunge and decided to go to beyond wonderland this weekend. I know everyone keeps saying it’s happy vibes … but really afraid of self conscious and all … Will I not fit in? : If so, please recommend something for me to wear. I am completely noob and oblivious…

there are plenty of larger people at British raves; a friend of mine is around that sort of size and he is very popular with everyone; and a well respected DJ. The region of England I live in has some of the country’s largest people (as its a rural and coastal area where people like their food 😉 )

Plenty of larger people go to raves I go to.
Actually its a great way to loose weight. I have a friend who was really overweight in the 80s as a kid, he then got into the raving scene and the weight dropped off (he didn’t form any serious drug habits, just took MDMA and dance a lot)
He’s now really fit!

You probably don’t see fat people in rave videos because they went home early, I can dance for a good 3 hours straight and not fuck myself over physically, but when I mix uppers and downers and can’t feel a fucking thing and am absolutely having it 15+ hours of dancing in a dirty warehouse ruins my body as I overexert massively. One time after doing a good 15+ hours when I got home and fell asleep, when I awoke my back was so fucked I actually couldn’t move. I had to sniff a dangerous dose of highly addictive opiates just to get out of bed.

Took about 6 months to recover my back from that one… kind of like boomtown 2010, I got lost for days from my tent and friends on LSD and Ketamine and fell over so many times I totally fucked my body for ages.

If you go raving on the regs and do uppers, you’ll lose those pounds fast. If I was to do this, I’d probably disappear as I’m 6’1 and around 155.

And you have to dress in smart suits for raves, that’s the law. Fuck the flower power kids of the 60’s, everyone knows glowlights and hippy clothes lead to helter skelter death to pigs.

This one time I went to a rave, there was a fat bird on top of the rig, christ knows how she got up there, but she and everyone was having a verily time, that is until she jumped down. Everyone died. Even me, it was horrid, the looks on the faces in the crowd will stick in my mind forever……
