I wanted to get my head round pointers and arrays as I never quite understood them during University – the entire post with more details is on my blog as cutting and pasting to here doesn’t work well.
PS: (het) gevangenhuus == prison (het gevangenis) in Gronings dialect
but here are the pictures (I made a silly mistake in the first version, and probably didn’t need to set i to zero but just declare it or use some different flag in gcc to alow the int to be declared in the for loop).
