which is exactly what would have happened a decade ago (there were and still are MMS text messages). TBH if his mum hadn’t called the BBC to whinge about it the incident wouldn’t even have been reported due to the age protection restrictions.
Incidentally being on a local intelligence database is not the same as being on the main PNC / criminal record system although it can be sometimes divulged when CRB/DBS checks are requested. That said; all of my LIO and PNC records got struck out (including two cautions for class A and B which I had been caught with) due to flawed intelligence data from 1990s..
