NB: if anyone here is inspired to make one (as its not that difficult a project if you know about skateboards and small microcontrollers) please read the chaps instructable and all his safety warnings; (he cannot give definitive safety advice for everyone due to differences in terrain, motor power and local laws). I’d suggest experimenting with it in a large area free from traffic or excessive amounts of bystanders and keeping the speed at around 8 km/h to start with (otherwise you can get a traffic violation ticket in some regions!)
