I get that too. perhaps the “thanks” for a post has been combined with “likes” but the rest of the code is not yet ready. On a site like this the database is always live and being alterered so there is often no option but to work on it “Volle Kanne” (DE: working on some system that is live and risking disruption to endusers).
Last weekend I had to restart a live telephone system so put my mobile on GCHQ mode (audio of all the calls going through this box routed to the handsfree) whilst I was in the comms room; for some reason the person on the phone decided just then to wander into the adjacent office so was comaplaining about the echo back in her ears of everything she was saying.
I did explain to her this is only done when officiall required to keep the system running andthe alternative would have been to abruptly clear down the call she was on which was to an elderly persons relative and it would take 5 minutes for the system to restart again)
