I’m sure that all sorts of “multicultural” tea would be sold in modern day Italy; and it seemed that the doctor and possibly the policemen too were quite happy to try the stuff for themselves (which they wouldn’t do if they thought it would poison them).
TBH if this has been sold for decades in an EU country without it really becoming any worse than it has been in the last 30-40 years (there don’t seem to be any more buses crashed in Italy than similar countries) maybe that should be a sign to Europe and the World that even the “hard drugs” if sold in the right quantities and dosage methods aren’t as destructive as once feared?
