For all of those reasons; and since about 1987 (I tend to avoid opiates (they do not appeal to me) and cocaine (way too expensive and involves going amongst particularly sketchy folk) although being still a baptised Catholic (not a particularly good one; athough drugs use has over the years become less sinful and psychedelics aren’t entirely incompatible with faith) but this apparently still makes me both a Christian and potentially a terrorist in this country.
BTW during the late 1990s one of our crews (the folk who discovered the warehouses etc to squat and provided various logistical support) was actually known as the Readingstoke Liberation Army; by some bizzare coincidence quite a few of us were Catholic although anyone could join it provided they were hardcore enough (one dude was a ex-Protestant former footy hooligan, another was this New Age hippy who smoked way too much on top of doing amfet and got paranoid that everyone/everything from space aliens (which had contacted him via a 1980s CB radio) and the DTI (Communications Ministry) as well as Thames Valley Police were after him.
We even had our own political party website at one point :laugh_at:

I think the only reason TVP left us alone was because we were relatively harmless lunatics compared to some of the real bad shit which was (and still is) going down in that region..
So I intend staying connected in whatever form until Them Lot Upstairs decide my soul and body should be “ceased and reprovided” [though I expect I will end up in Purgatory [which incidentally exists in more than one faith] as the telecoms manager for some kind of coastal depot with a railway siding that where the contents of ships like this get offloaded to freight trains.
(this one carries 48 000 000 L of anything from benzine [petrol/gasoline] to heavy fuel oil); thus I [and everyone else on site] would have to be relatively well behaved and sober (and avoid smoking outside designated areas) at least during work hours…..
