Not too long ago British Telecom tried to claim copyright on inventing the hyperlink itself (possibly via the same Courts); which thankfully didn’t get very far.
Who would police it anyway? BSI/BND / Agentschap Telecom / GCHQ etc have plenty other more important stuff to be dealing with anyway.
