So, today, I share with you a computer hardware chart which should be as interesting as an Indian Jones secret map for computer geeks.
Such as the secret maps of Ramesh Jones from Heaton (the one nearest to Tryptameanie) – although such a chap would likely be even older than I am to have encountered some of that hardware :laugh_at:
Any you didn’t recognize GL?

quite a few of the smaller memory chips and hard drive connections; also some proprietary motherboard interface sockets which I suspect were more widely used in USA and Asia.
The picture also omits many connectors and chip sockets commonly used in European electronics during the 1980s some predate the PC era by a few years. to be fair if the picture is being compiled by relatively young Americans and Asians they may have genuinely never seen some of them.
When I worked for a broadcast/AV equipment supplier in the 90s I had to explain to the Americans what a SCART connector on a TV set was (and why it was useful once you had worked out the correct cabling) as TV sets in the USA lack them…
alors , well, sorry , u know all phones have an IMEI Number

if example fbi is listening ur phone, even when changing the sim card, they can ask to all country phone compagnies which number the phone with the imei number is now using, so its always obligatory to change the phone and the sim card.
do a laptop also have a such number???
Laptops can be identified using the unique numbers stored on the components. Normally the wifi card I think.

then the wifi number is eqwuivalent to the IMEI Number of a phone, the IP to the sim card
Masking everything identifiable. If you want a person locating rather than what hardware is looking at a site you want the ip address.
