How long does Keftab stay in your system?
I'm on 500 mg Keftab for an ear infection. And I have to take it twice a day for a week. If I stop the medication this week, will I be able to drink booze again by next week?

Alternative to alcohol?
Well, recently, while being pleasantly fucked off my face from booze, I've made some serious mistakes. I cheated on my boyfriend. Twice. I refuse to let it happen again, and so therefore am packing the drink in. Anyone know any good/better alternatives to alcohol that are good for going out/parties?
Cheers.

What’s your fav drinking game?
My friends and I just started playing this drinking game called Bet Your Liver...
The rules are:
Simple rules and lots of drinking. This is great for any bar or party at any time of the night.
You’ll need:
Three or more players
A deck of cards
An empty glass or pitcher
Intoxication level: 3
How to play: The starting player pours any amount of beer into the pitcher. This amount should be equal their bet of how likely they think they are to guess the card right. After betting, the player guesses black or red. The top card of the deck is flipped over and if the player guesses wrong, then they have to drink the contents of the pitcher. If they guess correctly, then they pass the pitcher to the next player. With a lot of correct guesses, the amount in the pitcher could get quite large!
What's your favorite?

What are other psychonauts opinions on drinking alcohol whilst tripping?
Ive been taking psychdelics for about 4 years now and nearly all the time i drink alcohol on them as i think it loosens the mood and makes the trip more fun and giggly etc but recently ive been going through some rough personal issues and i havent tripped properly in a good few months and im planning on tripping very soon but im going in with the mindset of learning more about myself and trying to straighten out a bit and come to terms with some things that have happened, basically i want to have a profound spiritual trip and most likely it'll be on 4-aco, i just wanted to know what other peoples opinions would be for set and setting etc for this kind of trip eg should i do it alone with some music or just a close friend? also in general what are peoples opinions on drinking alcohol whilst tripping, do you think it takes away an important part of the experience? and what sort of set and settings do other people prefer for high dose trips?

DIY Smoking Apperatuses
Just wondering about all the crazy stuff people have build to smoke out of. Possibly give me some ideas as I am short a pipe right now
On a side note I've heard tin foil is terrible to use as a bowl piece because of all the chemicals that go into the smoke when it's touched by a lighter. Has anyone heard anything similar?

Is "underage" drinking really such a problem?
Every shop seems to have this daft "challenge 21/25" which makes it impossible to get booze unless you have photo ID (and I lost mine a few weeks ago). Thankfully the real ale pubs seem to have a more pragmatic view (though these days I tend to drink with people older than me, some of whom know the parents of the bar staff which makes a difference )
but isn't this a bit pointless and unfair? basically the supermarkets have taken matters into their own hand to increase the legal drinking age to 21-25 , without any real debate or consultation  - I can't even get a beer out of most of them as I seem to have stayed (appearance wise) as about 21-23 years old. I wouldn't complain otherwise but for this daft rule..
Most young drinkers I've encountered are friendly if boisterous, those what do cause trouble would do so if sober and its more due to personality disorders than alcohol or other substances...
and yet teenagers still get drink (often purchased for them by tolerant parents) and even the old bill (in Suffolk, I can't speak for London or other city areas) are saying that there is less of a problem with serious alcohol-related violence committed by teens, its the older people who are the worst for it from their mid 20s to their 60s!
Isn't it about time society started "assuming good faith" in young people again? I'm not saying anti-social behaviour should go unchallenged but its rarer than people think. Most of the drunk kids here seem to be emos and hipsters (this being the latest fashion) and the worst they do is jaywalking (I've scattered a few whilst riding back home, I do slow down for them though)

UK : NHS reports fall in UK 11-15 year olds drug/alcohol use
This doesn't actually surprise me TBH... I think young people aren't exactly abstaining but waiting until age 16-18 before they start regularly taking drugs (like how it was 20 years ago)...
Fewer schoolchildren are smoking, drinking or taking drugs, according to an NHS report which contradicts the widespread belief that such behaviour is increasingly popular with young people.
The proportion of 11- to 15-year-olds who have taken drugs on at least one occasion has fallen from 29% in 2001 to 22% last year. And the proportion who admit to having ever used alcohol has dropped from 61% in 2003 to 51% in 2009. But the biggest decline has been in smoking. When the study began in 1982 53% of participants said they had smoked at least once, down to 29% last year.

Drink Driving
Talking on the News about roughly halving the drink driving limit when this new report comes out tomorrow. So I guess even a pint at lunchtime could easily put you over the limit. Well this sucks, wonder how much cash they will make in fines. If no one ever goes out and we make the world as sterile as possible maybe we can all live for ever.
Remind me to get the hell out of this country as some point would you, so done with England.
EDIT:
