UK : NW : Warning – suspected fatal OD’s from contaminated amfetamines A worrying development as amfetamine is very rarely adulterated in this manner (it may be diluted with inert chemicals but not normally anything particularly nasty). This is however the same area where PMA pills have been in circulation, its possible a dealer has paid for a load of them, knows that as pills they will not sell so has crushed them and mixed them in with speed to recoup their investment..

Five men who admitted plotting to produce drugs on an "industrial scale" have been jailed for nearly 24 years.
Jonathan Buckley, Richard Pheby, Paul Preston, Jicheng Zhang and Yongan Hu pleaded guilty at Chester and were sentenced at Warrington Crown Court.
The court heard Buckley recruited chemists Zhang and Hu from China to help set up a laboratory.
Police said the gang had orders for enough chemicals to make amphetamines with an estimated street value of £6m.
Gang leader Buckley, 56, of Gateacre Park Drive, Liverpool was jailed for seven years.
The scientists Zhang and Hu were each given three years, while Pheby, 53, of New King Street, Middlewich, and Paul Preston, 42, of White Cross Court, Newton-Le-Willows were each given five years for production of a Class B drug,
The gang rented a unit under a false name in Newton-Le-Willows where the laboratory was set up.
Steve Baldwin from the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) said: "This crime group posed a clear risk to public safety as they were planning to produce amphetamine on an industrial scale.
"They had already received an order worth over £5m and talked of setting up a bigger lab to cope with the demand.
"We had been watching their every move though and intervened before any drugs reached the streets."
Prosecutors said this was the first time this method of producing benzyl methyl ketone (BMK), a central ingredient for amphetamines, had been seen in Europe.

Vyvance- 70mg to 40mg? any difference? so i've been taking 70mg Vyvance pills,i'm not perscribed to the drug, & i'm like 5'3-5'4 120 lbs i believe.
it makes me feel amazing, but i have trouble sleeping, eating, and my heart beats really fast, but i do believe those are common side-effects. sometimes i don't even feel like i can get through the day without a 70mg Vyvance pill, you could say i'm "addicted" but i honestly don't think it's in a bad way, it helps me get so much accomplished and boosts my confidence level not to mention the very euphoric feeling and talking constantly. :)
so i have 3,40mg Vyvance pills, does 40mg have the same effects as 70mg? also i heard you can actually sleep at night when you only take 40mg and possibly eat that night.. is that true? & if 40mg doesn't have the same effects would it be safe to take two 40mg, that's what my friend with adhd actually does because his actually prescribed, that'd be 80mg. help would be lovely. :)
Looking for speed.. Too risky? Advice please New to all this, and SWIM will be at a club night next month and is desp after some speed.
Can't seem to find anyone with any contacts recently, and it has been suggested to look for clubbers already high on the night, and ask them.
Is this advisable? SWIM doesn't want to accidentally ask someone who turns out to be undercover security..
Any advice on the matter?12
What did I take and is this normal? So around 9PM on a Thursday night a few of my mates and I decided to go buy some Methadrone. We ended up getting 5g. So we fired away sniffing our lines up probably taking a gram each.. This is where we all start questioning whether or not it actually was Methadrone we were sold. The stuff we had taken blocked everyones noses up as if there was a rock stuck up there.. When you blew it back out it was an orange colour? Bit strange.. Anyways we all had increased heart rate etc. the normal stuff till about 6AM Friday. After that we all reported a jittery feeling, unable to string a sentence out without having to deeply think about what you were saying making it come out of your mouth all jittery. I have never experienced this before.
We went to the dealers house at about 9AM and they too were feeling the exact same stuff as we were (they had also taken it the night before); blocked nose, blurred vision, shaking and jittery speech.. Anyways we end up buying even more of the stuff still unknowning what it is (The dealers insist it was Methadrone). This is when i started to feel myself shaking uncontrollably this lasted for a good few hours before it slowly started to die away.. We sniffed another gram or so each, and after a few hours later i had to call it a day. It got the better of me.
I got back home at 3PM, had a warm bath, ate some fruit and drank as much water as i could.. 6PM hit and all I wanted to do is sleep after having no sleep for 24 hours, but since my body was still under the influence this didn't happen for a good 2-3 hours.. So I finally end up getting to sleep waking up about 30 minutes ago from now. (7:30AM Saturday)..
I feel perfectly normal now my mood is a lot better, I actually feel like doing something now other than lying in bed. The only issue is I keep feeling the need to do something with my hands, i keep moving my hand and trying to bite my fingernail. My body is also shaking slightly no where near as intense as yesterday though.. My head also feels heavy as hell but I always get this on a comedown.
Does anyone know what we took that night and morning? Is the comedown I described above normal? Thanks.
Breaking Bad. (synopsis) Breaking Bad is an American television drama series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), with the aim of securing his family's financial future before he dies.
He then takes on the pseudonym 'Heisenburg'
Walt's stunning transition from meek chemistry teacher to Scarface-in-training drug lord. When Walt puts on his black porkpie hat and trenchcoat and becomes Heisenberg, he's able to commit hideously gruesome acts that regular Walt would never be capable of. It's a form of psychological compartmentalization that lets Walt distance himself from his evil acts and convince himself he's still a good person.
Walt can therefore be viewed as a human manifestation of the "uncertainty principle" -- as he gains momentum as a murderous drug lord, he loses sight of his original position as a family man with a strong moral code. The exact moment when Walt truly becomes evil is debatable or "uncertain"
Walt becomes increasingly bad ass, whilst 'Heisenburg' is desperately being tracked down by his brother in law Hank.
Why is it so popular?
For a start, every episode ends on a cliffhanger..or a 'how the fuck can they get out of this one?' ending.
The science it incorporated is supposedly flawless. Heisengurg uses science in all situations from cooking the meth, tracking people down, covering up his tracks and occasionally murder.
The soundtrack has all these extremely tense industrial scores.
The plot line is ever changing and the main characters ingenious way get out of this 'cat and mouse chase' is unscathed.
The characters are complex and the actors play the roles convincingly.
