My experiences on 5-meo-dmt
So I've tried 5-meo-dmt several times now, and I'm afraid to say it's not all that it's cracked up to be. Of course, everyone's experiences are different, and maybe I'm just one of those who will never experience the mind warping trips that others have reported with this drug. According to erowid, a 'strong' does of 5-meo-dmt is between 10-20mg smoked, and the most I've ever done was 14mg, so although I certainly could go higher, I have made my way into the 'strong' region of the experience.
My experience is that the drug emerses you in a light-headed kinda spacey feeling, with an especial acuteness for depth perception, but nothing like the "traveling through the cosmos" that others have reported (which I'm equating with something like an OOB experience). The feeling gets more intense with higher doses, of course, and so does the nausea, but "traveling through the cosmos" would not be my first choice of words to describe it.
On the other hand, there is possibly a loose connection between the hightened perception of depth and the reason why some report the experience in this way. I notice, especially on high doses, that things that are close seem really close and things that are far seem really far. I can imagine that on a clear night when the stars are especially visible, one could get a profound sense of how deep and vast the universe is by toking up a lung full of 5-meo-dmt and then star gaze. The hightened depth perception while looking at the stars would certainly feel as though your consciousness were 'expanding' into the cosmos, or least becoming more aware of how vast and extensive it is. Perhaps this has been metaphorically hyped up as "traveling through the cosmos".
In any case, though I have not experienced anything like what others have reported (not in a literal sense), I have taken much of value from this drug. In fact, once we get well into the summer, I would like to toke up a jacked up dose (something over 15mg) and do exactly what I described above: star gaze on a clear night. I'm sure it would be quite the experience (and god dam the nausea! :))
But I should ask before closing on this note: of those who (think they) have experienced traveling through the cosmos on 5-meo-dmt, what was the dose at which this happened and how was it consumed. I'm just wondering if a higher dose than 14mg would do it or if a different method of consumption would. Maybe I should just try it myself, but at this point, I'm satisfied that it wouldn't do anything that I haven't already experienced.

4-aco-dmt not working for me
I've been experimenting with 4-ace-dmt lately and I don't think it's having the same effect on me that it's had in reports I've read. I've smoked up to 45mg or thereabouts and it only felt like a very mild mushroom trip. I saw ripples in the ceiling but that was it. It lasted for only about 2 to 3 hours.
I'm going to try drinking it in a tea. Maybe that route will be more effective.
Anyone else have a hard time reaching intense levels with this stuff?

first time 5-meo-dmt experience
I smoke 5-meo-dmt for the first time today. I'd just like to report my experience and get some feedback.
I aimed for a mild experience for a first time and I think that's what I got.
When the package first arrived, it was labeled 250mg, though when I weighed it, the scale read 0.4g. The scale is pretty reliable (I tested it) but it only goes to one decimal place - so 0.4g could be anything between 350mg (assuming it rounds up) to 499mg (assuming it doesn't). Anyway, I read that threshold is at 2mg, usual dosage is at 5mg, and intense is at 10mg. I decided to aim for 5mg. I assumed I had 400mg. So 5mg would be 1.75% of of the total. I aimed to get between 1 and 2 percent. I used tweezers. I grabbed a small pinch which, in my estimate, contained about 10 to 20 grains.
I smoked it.
Almost immediately I felt a calm serene sensation take hold of me. It was a spacy, light-headed feeling - almost like weed. Then a slow rush gradually came over my body. My mind remained in that calm serene place while my body went through a more harsh trip. My stomach started to feel just a little queezy and then I felt a very mild pain in the region between my chest and stomach. Then the experience was over - it gradually faded away.
I'm wondering if the sensation in the chest was due to harmful effects to the lungs. Is 5-meo-dmt a crystal structure? I heard these structures can act like razors in the lungs on a microscopic level (that sounds way worse than it actually felt).
Is this experience typical of a mild dose? How much would you estimate I smoked? I'd definitely try it again at a higher dose, but I worry about the nausea and the pain to the lungs. I'm worried I could do some damage to my lungs, though I wouldn't smoke this stuff on a regular basis, so it might be worth it just for the experience.
Feedback would be much appreciated.

4-aco-dmt vs 5-MeO-DMT
Hello,
What's the difference between 4-aco-dmt and 5-MeO-DMT? Obviously, there's a difference in chemical structure, but is there any difference in the experience? In the effects on your body? In where you can get it from or how its synthesized/extracted? Any difference you can think of at all?
BTW, are these two the only variations on DMT or are there others? Are there huge amounts of others, and if so, are there only a handful worth exploiting? Available?

insufflating DMT
Someone I know (harhar) has been experimenting with N,N-DMT recently, trying to smoke it as is the common method, using a bubble vapouriser.
The problem is getting 50mg of smoke inhaled, it's pertty horrible stuff (like plastic flavoured vapour) and this chap has asthma so by the time about half is inhaled there is enough breathing discomfort to not enjoy the trip. A few attempts have failed to reach the 'psychic threshold' and meet the machine elves or whatever otherworldy experience would await.
The question is, why dont people snort it? Has anyone here experimented with this stuff up the nose? Can you have an out of body experience with insufflation or does it have to be smoked?
According to this :: DMT Drug :: DOSAGE
you need half the amount when snorting it and it lasts a lot longer, so why bother smoking it at all?

DMT Pipe
Can anyone recommend a good DMT smoking pipe?
After recently sampling changa I'm interested in trying out some pure DMT, I can get it but as far as I know it's tricky to smoke, I don't know anyone who's done it before and dont want to end up inhaling a load of molten dmt..

Extracting DMT
Greetings,
I am in search of some help finding a certain chemical for a DMt extraction from Mimosa Hostilis rootbark. I have aqquired Naptha, Sodium Hydroxide, and my last and final chemical needed is Ammonium Hydroxide. Does ANYBODY know where to find this? Or is it under a name of another product. I got naptha by buying fuel. So i'm hoping somebody can help me out here. I really want to try extracting DMT
