Alere brand THC home testing strips UNRELIABLE!!! I am a 56 yr old who has been smoking pot almost daily since the 1970's. Yes, I'm an old hippie.
To make a very long story short, I stopped ALL pot smoking on Oct. 1, 2013, knowing that I would be subjected to urine drug screening when applying for a new job. I drank gallons of water, got plenty of exercise, and was not around anyone else smoking pot, and on Jan. 10, 2014, I tested POSITIVE for THC and lost a job opportunity. I couldn't believe I tested positive after not smoking for more than 90 days!!
So, I ordered 6 THC at-home urine tests made by Alere (on website HomeHealthTesting.com) that screened for any levels ABOVE 50 ng/ml (which is the standard threshold for testing positive in the USA).
Then I went to my private physician (yes, she knows I enjoy smoking) and paid for my OWN urine THC screening on Feb. 1, 2014 - and tested POSITIVE, but only at 14.5 ng/ml (which means I would have passed a standard pre-employment test.)
NOW...HERE'S MY COMPLAINT!!! --- The Alere home test strips arrived on Feb. 6, 2014, and I tested positive, but they are only supposed to test positive for OVER 50 ng/ml!!!! In other words -- the test was WRONG. It wasn't possible that I had more than 50 ng/ml when I tested at 14.5 ng/ml on Feb. 1, 2014!!
I HAVE CONTINUED TO NOT SMOKE AND HAVE TAKEN A NEW TEST EACH SUNDAY SINCE ---AND I AM SITTING HERE STARING AT TODAY'S TEST SAYING I AM STILL POSITIVE FOR MORE THAN 50 ng/ml --WHEN I KNOW THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE! SO, I SAY THESE TESTS ARE BULLSHIT!!! THEY JUST WANT YOU TO THINK YOU'RE POSITIVE (OVER 50NG/ML) SO YOU KEEP BUYING THEIR TESTS!!!!!! HEADS UP -- THESE TESTS ARE NOT RELIABLE!!!!! (P.S. - I am very aware of every other drug, such as ibuprofen, etc. that can cause a false positive. I am not taking ANY OTHER medications or over the counter medications!) Again....I have not smoked since Oct. 1, 2013....Today is Feb. 23, 2014.... NEARLY 5 MONTHS OF NO SMOKING~!~!~ and I KNOW that I only had 14.5 ng/ml on Feb. 1. 2014, yet these worthless Alere strips are still reading positive for OVER 50 ng/ml today!! WORTHLESS SCAM!!:head_bang

Crystal Meth Question :hopeless: So the hubby and I have been doing meth for about 2 days now. At first we had 2 bags of ICE rock. It was some fire! But the last sack we got we had to get from a different dealer. It wasn't in rock form it was more like salt crystals or something. The first 2 sacks of the ICE burned great didn't really burn on the pipe or anything, but this last sack when you heated it up in your pipe it instantly turned brown and burnt when you inhaled it. I want to know what the hell was wrong with the last sack. We won't be smoking for a couple more days because we both hafta meet with the prob officer for a drug test. BUT I want to know what is up. Did we get ripped off. We both have never smoked it before this is out first time and we are a little dumb. Please help!1234

Alere Single Dip THC Drug Test questions… Ok, so my parents caught me smoking and decided to start giving me these THC drug tests. They don't know anything about other drugs, but I got shocked when they gave me one so I stopped everything for the last couple months. I finally got my hands on one of the tests to take a picture of, and I looked it up and started to think these might not test positive for other drugs.
My question being would this thing test positive for Acid, Ecstasy, or Adderall?

Log’s drug test and opiate withdrawals Okay guys, i'm sorry to report that i have been suffering since firday from opiate withdrawal. Hence why I haven't been activly posting on the forum. I was put back up to 50ml and was taking an extra 10ml form my Armageddon supply and reducing myself down 2 ml every 2 days. I was fine with this routine but the day that we went to know hopes gathering of PV carebears, I notice d that my perscption was 10ml over what it should have been. This isn't the first time I have had this from my chemist before and that is who I blame for my unessesary withdrawals. This must be the 5th time I have found myslef clucking for no reason. It really is getting me down man, fair enough if I had been using on top of my dose I would deserve it but I haven't. So anyway my armagedon suplpy is now all gone and I have had to put myself back up 60ml and for the last 2 days I have still been in minor withdrawals. (minor is still horrid) So I phoned up my clinic first thing to hear that my key working is away AGAIN fucking hell she is always fucking away. Nice person but never there when I need her. So I spoke to this norhten guy who basically fobed me off with the big "we don't put people up unless they are using heroin" (WTF so i'll just go and use some gear then eh) So after he fobbed me off I sat down and tought about my options. which were either stop crying and deal with it, go and try to score some methadone or heroin, or phone again. I decided to phone again and spoke to the duty worker who was allot more helpfull. I explained that I declined to be put up to 60ml during last week cos I honestly thought I was gonna be fine. So he wants me to come down and do a drug test and hopefully sort out a new script for me. But the only problem is last week I did take some drugs nothing major just some DMT, Ket, 4HO-MPT and a vallium. The only thing i'm worried about is the vallium TBH cos they really don't take kindly to people taking it with methadone cos its fucking dangerous. I'm hoping that it will all be out of my system and online it says that it only lasts 3 to 7 days in your system anyway. I really don't know what i'm gonna do if I don't get this script sorted. I may even cry. Even if they do give it to me the woman who prints perscriptions is no there today so they can't do it until 2moz and even then they won't give me the script to take with e cos of new rules about people loosing scripts. So either way its gonna be a rough old few days for poor old loggy unless all you guys send me good vibes to overcome the impossible. Its easy all you have to do is write good vibes on this thread and I will automaticly get them. LOL

Fuck the NHS!!! well im back from 5 days tests on the nhs for collapsyin and work (UNCONCIOUS) FOR 30 mins and coming home scot free......welll fuck u all the 7g of mepe i had consumed, plus a hen of coke and shed loads of drunk well im back! and great as ever (well with epilopsy lol) fucked up innit, 20 bottles a bud in me tnite no harm tho baby yeah!!!12
Need advice and info on drug testing after recreational cocaine use… I have a friend who smokes crack cocaine occasionally and has a drug test coming up for a new job and is worried he will not pass. Here is the basic info about his situation:
- Last time used was 10 days ago, time before that was 17 days ago and before that it was over a month ago. He has only used a few more times in the last 4 months or so.
- He smoked about $40 worth the last 2 times.
- He took a cocaine drug test from Walgreens yesterday and it came up negative - but is that really very accurate?
What are his chances of passing a drug test, whether it be a urine, hair, blood or saliva test?
Is there any kind of detox drink that he can take the same day before the test that will work?
Oh, and he is not going to use anymore. He has realized that it is bad for his health and overall life.
