where has Ketamine actually gone?
I've seen a few threads about the disapearance of K in the UK, loads of people saying the main source in india has shut down or whatever, but i mean there must be a better reason. For example what if you are a vet / own a farm or whatever with some horses, surely you must be able to get some that way? I'm just curious to where it has suddenly disapeared :(

Ketamine drought or MDMA returning saving the party vibe scene?
As a regular free party goer for few years now I have noticed the free party atmosphere changing.
I am not saying that this is the case for all parties/people as I know a lot of mates including myself that can have fun without drugs.
But have defiantly notice a difference in people which I beleive changes this 'party vibe'.
From loved up people that make friends with any random joe to people that can't speak or even walk. These people thats get to this sort of state on ketamine which I believe was getting more and more popular to the point it was accepted and normal has killed a bit of the friendly vibe.
I openly admit that I do enjoy ketamine this is came about when the pills and mdma was in a draught a year-ish ago. I just recon that I'v enjoyed a party more when people were more connected.
I have noticed this from the ketamine draught and the return of mdma and this in my eyes has brought back a nicer party feel. For both users and non users.
More sociable with people making loads of new friends that you may have never approached is what makes the party a party besides the music.
LEGALISE THE TEKNIVAL the right to party in freedom!

Ketamine is Killing the Rave Scene & Don’t You Know It
This thread contains a discussion of the drug Ketamine, it's use and effects...
I am just writing to anyone who has information on Ketamine. I love it but don't really know what the proper damages are. I know the Ketty we do is not horse tranq as we do a human form which is actually used as a cancer agent (believe it or not!).
So does anyone else like it?

Why are so many people against Ket?
I don't use the horse-nip myself. I've never tried it because I notice it gives users more of a desire for a solitary experience or wandering around and I just always want to dance so I'm not sure it would be a good one for me. Plus, I fear the hole. (I know it's very different for the person going through it than for the people watching the person going through it but damn, it looks savage.)
However, I do tire of the amount of negative comments I see and hear everywhere from anti-k party people. Most can't give any reason for hating the drug and its users so much. They just say it's a dirty drug or that they're 'not K people', which seems a bit narrow to me. One guy said he felt it makes raves unfriendly if there's too much K around and that K gets people aggressive, which is inaccurate - most of my male friends love the stuff at raves and they're still perfectly cordial and fun-loving. Are people in K-holes some kind of imposition for anti-K ravers? Sure, they stumble around in a complete daze with a running nose for a while but that's no worse than people going clean over like sacks of bricks after a heavy hit of NOS.
One or two of my friends have received bitchy comments when they've been looking for K and stuff. A few weeks ago my friend thought he heard a guy behind him asking people for Ket so he turned around and said, 'A guy over there is selling good Ket.' Obviously, my friend misheard, because the guy fired back, 'Do I look like a fucking horse?' and skulked off. I don't get why people still hang on to this idea of good drugs and bad drugs. Different people, different prescriptions, right?
Anyone hate Ket at raves and why? Anyone love Ket and feel like a pariah?

Hepatitis C Warning to K users
Just a thought to all of you who like to shove drugs up your nostrills.
When snorting ANY substance please use your own tube. Not money, that note has probebly been used 3000 times before you and found in a urinal or something.
The idea is that you CAN catch Hepatitis C from sharing snorting equipment. You stuff the tube up yer nose, snort, nose bleeds a little and ends up on the tube and you give that tube to someone else, and so on and so on.
I have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and its not nice to know that you are infectious - but wouldnt it be worse if you didn't know how to prevent it from happening to you in the first place.
Well now you do.
Use your own snorting tube, never money, use some paper, a flyer, something that no one else has used.

3-MeO-PCP
Not ketamine, and maybe if Dr B sees this he will rename this subforum to arylcyclohexylamines to seem more inclusive to this family of drugs, but this is the most recent member of this family I have tried.
According to the literature this, as with 4-MeO and 5-MeO-PCP are very similar in activity to PCP but having never tried PCP I can't personally comment on that aspect but after practical investigation of this compoundit is definitely the most potent of the arylcyclohexylamines I've had the pleasure to imbibe.
Product comes as a white crystaline powder. After hearing, reading and seeing the effects of smoked PCP this is much more preferable as dipping cigarettes into a liquid of questionable purity is in no way an accurate way of dosing and I'm fucking certain that shit sold in Philly doesn't undergo GC/MS nor NMR testing to determine quality.
Knowing from my research that this compound is very close in activity to PCP itself made me approach this compound with great caution so after allergy testing with around 1mg I VERY slowly ramped up the dosage to 5mg then 10mg to 15mg and between 10 and 15mg was where effects became noticeable. At 10mg I thought the distinction between activity and placebo was too fine but at 15mg snorted there was a definite effect. Reasonably mild but unquestionably active, change in mood and slightly energised however it was between 20 and 40mg that the effects became very pronounced.
At 20mg there were no real psychedelic effects to speak of but my mood had noticeably changed and a degree of euphoria washed over me but this came with a slight feeling of power, similar I guess to the way people describe cocaine use. At around 30mg distortion of reality was becoming apparent and the feeling of power was increasing to almost a feeling of invincibility, whcih, while enjoyable, also brought slight trepidation as my mind was fully functional and I believe rational and the extreme, purported, effects of smoked PCP were in the back of my mind. This did not stop me going higher though.
At 40mg hallucinogenic effects were fully apparent but not in any way like a traditional psychedelic and quite unlike any other arylcyclohexylamine I've used before. There were no awesome colours nor geometric patterns nor strange beautiful creatures as with tradition psychedelics. It brought with it a memory of my grandfather, who died when I was around 5 years old. Not only could I see him clearly but I even heard his voice which reduced me to tears, a very bittersweet memory. Bitter because he is gone and even today I miss him greatly but sweet as this was the closest I had or ever will get to him again.
I am really in two minds about this compound as while enjoyable, it is plainly obvious that pushing the dose will result in psychological issues that can potentially be raised both during, and after, can be challenging and in a way that no traditional psychedelic I've ever used comes close to and the aforementioned feeling of invincibility could undoubtedly cause during interactions with others.

Expansion Of the Scope of this Category?
Helloooooooo bass (yes you Dr Bunsen......) I notice we have this ketamine place but really it needs expanding to at least say something like disscoiatives or whatever but this area is a rich and wonderful world to explore, and ketamine, when you get to delve deeper into the arylcyclohexylamines, really isn't that great ;) MXE imo pisses all over it and my very limited testing of 2-OxO-PCE puts it ahead of ketamine (MXE is actually 2-OxO-PCE with an added methoxy group, 3-MeO-2-OxO-PCE.......).
Also, ephenidine was quite nice and for it's medicinal value, I think very under-rated, also, 2-MeO-ephenidine is definitely a worthwhile compound and I plan to write about that compound shortly but I also have flourolintane to write about.........

K cramps!
Aaargh!
I've got K-cramps at the moment. Not the worst I've ever had but definitely uncomfortable.
Anyone wanna share any remedies?
Mint tea is good (but I don't have any) if sipped hot, helps get the wind moving around and stuff. Hot water bottles or heatpacks are kinda good too.
Obviously there are painkillers but you have to have some pretty damn mad ones for it to be able to take away the pain of K-cramps.
What has anyone else heard?

2-OXO-PCE/Eticyclidone
Okay, this is a new dissociative developed to replace the awesome MXE. Said to be around twice as potent as MXE (MXE is 3-Me-2'-OXO-PCE) and chemically similar to phencyclidine and ketamine, as you would expect.
Not much info on this compound online at all but I got a sample at the weekend so will probably give it a blast this afternoon.
This is pretty much all I found searching online.
