Cold Turkey Week On Channel 4 starting this coming Monday is the start of Cold Turkey week.
Channel 4 are going to follow a few heroin addicts go through detox in a special centre for doing so.
Since the subject of heroin is still quite vivid and the dangers are obvious, anyone who wants to watch should look through their TV guides and book it to watch. 2300 is the uncut version and there is a daytime version (without the obvious swearing etc and i'm sure more educational).

Effect of Detox drop Hello, I’m 24 yr old, college going student. I always experience severe headache and used many medicine for it but the headache again comes back. Then I consulted to the doctor for a permanent solution and he advice me to take detox drop. I want to find how long it will take the meds to show its effect?

I have a drugs test coming up in the next few weeks for a new job and i need to get weed out of my system! I am taking a cocktail of vitamins and minerals (milk thistle, liver salts etc) and am pissing like a racehorse!
Are the detox kits any good and do they work? A bit of advice would be very much appreciated, i think i'm stuffed otherwise! :blackeye:

Need detox ideas fast… Please help! This is a long shot but here goes...I go out with a lovely 16 yr old girl with a heart of gold but there is one problem shes addicted to herion, shes been on it since the age of 14.
I met her at a rave in the summer, as she'd just started out partying some time earlier in the year. It's changed her life totally she is a true raver, loves it to bits and she'd give anything to come of smack. There is absolutely no help avalaible to her she's on a six month waiting list for methodone. She just does enough gear to stop the clucking and no more.
Any ideas people? any of you know of any good rehab centres that give a shit or even what kind of drugs to get to force a home detox?
