When I see a PV RSS graf shared on FB So how do I know who shared it?? I got a feeling that some of these aren't all being shared by Dr B but they all come under partyvibe. anyone care to ellaborate?

Facebook & SEX I was using facebook the other day and right there on my newsfeed BAM A picture of a half nude babe staring right at me. Part of me was happy to see her there but another part couldn't help but wonder how many children and other woman would be exposed to these kinds of posts from their friends that have liked or shared.
Have you ever seen anything like this yet? and if so how do you feel about it? I always thought facebook to be an innocent kind of place..

FR: "tu" / "vous" and social media I've noticed the same happen with NL and DE (which also have formal and informal words for "you") and the North Europeans are increasingly thinking "just use the informal version" -
For instance on some Dutch youth forums where there is a dude who is these kids teacher they all call him "je" but school is very right on there - but the French still seem to want the respect/hierarchy..
The informal version of "you" in the French language - "tu" - seems to be taking over on social media, at the expense of the formal "vous". As in many countries, online modes of address in French are more relaxed than in face-to-face encounters. But will this have a permanent effect on the French language?
Anthony Besson calls most people "vous". As a young man, it is a sign of respect to those older than him, and he's often meeting new people through his work in PR in Paris.
Yet this all changes on social media. "I always use 'tu' on Twitter," Besson says. "And not just because it takes up fewer of the 140 characters!"
Lots of other French people do exactly the same.

Family on facebook / myspace? Have you? I dont think i can do it.
I have had my aunt and cousin sitting in my 'friends requests' for about 2 months now and i REALLY think i don't want to add them. Mainly because I want my own life, half the reason for moving out of home and and away was because of all that. They do not need to knwo what goes on in my life..'what you don't know can't hurt you' etc and if they see some of those pics...it wouldnt be too jolly at the next family do i can tell you.
I feel dead harsh though because they are my close, close family, but i feel im justified in my actions :)

The FTC just announced it reached a settlement with the shameless social network for breaking a slew of privacy promises to users, including by forcing private friends lists into public, grossly oversharing data with third party apps, and failing to actually delete deleted content. As punishment - if you can call it that - Facebook agreed to conduct 10 privacy audits over 20 years, to actually delete information when the user deletes it, to stop "making misrepresentations about the privacy or security of consumers' personal information," and to require users to opt-in to any new privacy changes.
