real names, pictures, locations..
gives the feds a good idea of exactly how many youths are attending illegal raves and even what colleges they go to, who their friends are..
thing is each individual page isn't too bad on its own but collectively I'm not surprised that any randoms looking in must think there is a "massive problem" with illegal raves
to be fair some of the youths are fairly clued up (some goth girl even linked to one of our recent threads) but others seem to think they can exhaust the feds budgets by turning out "suicide rigs" every weekend (it hasn't dawned on them that this is in fact the anti-terrorism budget they are diverting to deal with the raves...)1234
UK : East : why facebook is a security risk I'm not gonna put this on the main forum what with the new "terrorism" laws and some of the angry young hotheads on there (particularly from the region)..

I have no personal beef with the cop and wish him and his family no harm whatsoever, (which is why I put this thread in a restricted area!) and of course he has the right to a social / personal life - but I can't help but think if he feels so safe and comfortable on Facebook that he is willing to put pictures of not just himself but his partner and children and their friends, that FB is clearly a lot more "police friendly" and supportive of conventional authority structures than a "proper" rave forum...
Facebook or Myspazz Who uses what?
or do you maybe use both or none of them?
I use both but for totally different reasons, facebook is more private and I actually found bot of my sisters there that I haven't seen for almost 10 years.. Nice :weee:

I know some people hate both and others are addicted to them :crazy_dru12
Myspace Tom and fellow founders facing the boot! MySpace president and default friend Tom Anderson TechCrunch predicts an imminent announcement that Tom Anderson, co-founder and president, will be out, along with chief executive Chris De Wolfe and chief technology officer Aber Whitcomb. There may be more on top of that - all because the new News Corp digital media chief executive Jonathan Miller is throwing his weight around. TC says the MySpace chief executive replacement has already been recruited.

G20 Police Officer said he Wanted to ‘Beat Up Hippies’ on Facebook Nice one dickhead! :you_crazy: :laugh_at:

PC Rob Ward wrote the comment just an hour after the death of Ian Tomlinson, the 47-year-old bystander who was struck by riot police on the day of the protests.
In a status update to friends at 8.17pm on April 1, the Metropolitan Police officer wrote: "Can't wait to bash some long haired hippys up @ the G20".

MySpace – Virus? Logged into myspace earlier, for the first time in ages. All was ok til i clicked on "My Music" and Avast started screeching at me. Said a virus had been detected. The only option to click was "Abort Connection" - so i did. I then went into Avast logs to see what it was (cos i always forget i should do that before clicking anything) but can't find out what it was at all. Have run various scans for both viruses and spyware, pc is fine, but still none the wiser about what happened there.
Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems with myspace? Cos now i daren't log back in there in case i get got! :scared:

Got this on facebook I'm not sure if it will be a good idea to post it in the forum..
Well, I wanted to ask first anyway
Hi all,
Another quick message as this group is about to pass 2,000 members, which is great news, but when that happens Facebook blocks messages from being sent to everyone (very annoying).
We've had an idea from a group member (cheers to Chris for the suggestion). If we all change our status to a similar message, we'll help bring even more attention to the cause.
Here's how to take part:
Change your status to - "[Your name] is asking
the BBC to run the Gaza appeal on TV"
That's it - it takes 10 seconds and it's easy.
Thanks, keep your great ideas coming, and here's hoping that by tomorrow the BBC will see sense :-)
Daftfader had his ID nicked! FaceBook. On Facebook if you are friends with Daft then don't accept his new profile. it is an imposter. Funny as f*ck! :laugh_at::laugh_at::laugh_at:12
