The presenter Khalid Aziz was one of the first British Asian TV presenters. Everyone "serious" had to speak like that on telly no matter where they were from, regional or ethnic accents were often discouraged.

So who here has seen the new life of Pi film? Won't ruin it for anyone by giving too much away but EPIC!!!
Went with girlfriend last night to watch it in 3D, I've read the book too (possibly my favourite book actually) so didn't expect the film to even nearly be as good as the book but I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. The 3D effect was almost overwhelming it was that amazing. Was considering getting some cid before I went but actually glad I didn't. Would have been far too intense with all those animals jumping out the screen at me lol.
We're barely half way through Jan but it'll be hard for 2013 to beat that film IMO. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys reading that hasn't already discovered this incredible story to go get a copy, and I recommend everybody go watch the film!!12
