Do NOT buy Powerhorse Energy Drink! I bought a drink called Power Horse from that Family Bargains shop today. It tasted like piss but I was thirsty. Half way through I look in the can and something's not right, so I pour it in a glass to have a look, and there's this very dark red/brown stuff floating in it. It was like squishy playdough. I've just been on their website and had a look at the pics they've got of it in the glass... No bits, it's not meant to be in there. I'm really hoping it's not, but it seemed alot like blood. I feel sick to my stomach.

That potent drink i was talking about Here is my official, unofficial recipe (note this is an alcoholic drink but can be made without the alcohol)
=P
"Good Morning You Brew"; Lemon arnald palmer:
Brews 4, 8-12 oz servings
materials/ingrediants:
-Tea leaves (or pre-packaged tea bags)
-your favorite legal bud (one that calms you rather then perks you up)
-Lemonaid (premade or fresh squeezed)
-caffeine pills/capsules/powder (whatever you have available or can buy cheaply)
-Vodka (preferrably grey goose)
-bowl (something to mix the herbs in)
-coffee filters (or equivalent)
-Tea kettle (something to make your tea in, that will not clog or break)
-weed resin (we are looking for something that contains THC)
-a few glasses/mugs/heat resistant containers
Steps:
step one: fill kettle to a safe amount, and place over heat. Bring to a boil (my kettle only brews safely 32oz)
step 2: place caffeine in boiling water and keep an eye out for a film to form on top of the water.
step 3: rip open tea bags open, and pour into a bowl, along with your legal bud, and resin, toss lightly or even crush to aggitate it
step 4: toss in the herbs from the bowl into the boiling water in the kettle, then reduce the heat to bring from a boil to a light simmer, stir constantly in various direction to aggitate the brew and help release the colors and chemicals into the water.
step 5: prepare your glasses with 1-2 shots of vodka mixed over ice and lemonaid. (ice is optional if you prefer to sip on warm tea)
Step 6: Place 1-2 coffee filters over your container/glass/mug and distribute equally amongst the containers
Step 7: add sweetener to your liking (not too much, but enough to take away some of the bitterness and add a hint of sweetness.
Optional steps before you serve:
Step X: wet the rim of the glass with water and dip into granulated sugar
Step X: slice a lemon into thin slices and place a slice on the rim of the glass
Step X: add a small drop of food coloring to rele mix up things
Step 8: Serve and enjoy responsibly =)
Note this is a very universal recipe that i came up with, it can be made minty, non-alcoholic, lime, orange, with shrooms rather then thc, etc
if you would like the exact way to make it into any of those forms, please, post so in a comment, and i will be sure to add it in. =P
and for those who are wondering, dude, where did you think of this? as a child, my father was a liquor store manager, and i used to hang out in the bar and drink all the soda i could drink, and watched as people made drinks. Oh, and through trial and error. =P
This is a very fun, party drink. Do not, under any circumstances attempt to drive or operate any machinery under the influence of this substance. =P
You have been warned. Now enjoy and impress all your friends with this drink

today i have mostly been eating… 2 whole baby barbequed squid in spicy stuff for 24baht, so tasty
then i went a bit food crazy..:hopeless:
had a pad thai for 40baht, was a bit small but really good...
then..
white deepfried cubes of what i thought was tofu, but turned out to be possibly meat, fish or cheese. in spicy stuff. nice (15baht)
and a bag of deepfried wantons which i thought were going to be sweet, but instead turned out to have little tiny eggs inside :weee: also in spicy stuff. (15baht)
and then...
a bag of green fruit, which could have been melon, pear or apple, but i have now worked out to being extremely unripe mango.. left most of it to ripen... (10baht)
and also a bag of what looks like apple with a little bag of pink stuff that could be suger inside, but could equally be fish eggs, not sure yet as saving it for breakfast!
ps i feel like a greedy cunt.
hold tight for the 'ive got a serious case of the shits and cant move 1m from the toilet' thread tommorrow :weee::hopeless:
UK : NW : Young outsider beats old guard in Wigan pie-eating contest Father-of-two Mr Rigby, from Beech Hill, Wigan, only entered the competition on a whim, after he noticed the contest advertised in his local paper. He said: "I was really surprised to win, I think my two boys will be very proud of me. The pie tasted great. I am a big pie fan, I eat between 10 and 20 a week at least."

Giant meat-eating plant discovered
A giant carnivorous plant has been discovered by a team of scientists in the central Philippines, and named after Sir David Attenborough.
The new species of pitcher plant is so big it can catch rats as well as insects in its traps.
It occurs only on the summit of one mountain in Palawan, Philippines and was discovered by botanists Alastair Robinson, Stewart McPherson, Volker Heinrich and Andreas Fleischmann in June 2007.
They named the remarkable plant Nepenthes attenboroughii in honour of natural history expert Sir David Attenborough. It is a real-life version of Audrey, the man-eating plant created by nerdy florist Seymour Krelborn in the 1986 film Little Shop of Horrors.
Nepenthes attenboroughii produces some of the largest, most voluminous and most beautiful traps of all known pitcher plants.
Mr McPherson, 26, from Poole in Dorset, said: "It's definitely not a joke. There's 120 different species all around the world.
"This particular one was discovered as part of a survey to look at all of them. It's one of the largest, there's only one or two that are any bigger. It is big enough to catch rats."
The team said the structure of its leaves, pitchers and flowers suggests strongly that it is a close relative of the great Nepenthes rajah from Borneo and may be related to the Nepenthes flora of Palawan and Borneo.
It is one of 13 new species the team has discovered during three years of expeditions in South East Asia.
Their findings were published in the Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society earlier this year. Mr McPherson's company Redfern Natural History is working on a documentary and has produced books about the new species

UK : East : "Water, water, everywhere, nor any drop to drink" HUNDREDS of homes in Felixstowe woke up today with little or no water following a power failure.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said the power failure caused part of the pumping system to fail.
As a result the water supply in hundreds of homes was affected between 6.30am and 7.15am today.

Milky Way ‘Tastes of Raspberries’ The Milky Way "could taste of raspberries", according to scientists.
They have discovered two of the most complex carbon-rich molecules ever found in interstellar space, including a substance called ethyl formate, the chemical responsible for the flavour of the fruit.
The molecules were detected in the star-forming region of space known as Sagittarius B2 in a giant dust cloud at the heart of our galaxy.
The findings were announced during the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science at the University of Hertfordshire.
Meanwhile, scientists believe they are one step closer to finding planets that could support life after discovering a new planet.
Gliese 581 d, is said to be "well within" the "habitable zone", where liquid water oceans could exist and life could be sustained.
It is one of four found in the Gliese system, which has five times the mass of Earth and orbits its host star in 66.8 days.
Researcher Stephane Udry, of the Geneva Observatory in Switzerland, said: "Gliese 581 d is probably too massive to be made only of rocky material, but we can speculate that it is an icy planet that has migrated closer to the star.
"'D' could even be covered by a large and deep ocean - it is the first serious 'water world' candidate."
Lead researcher Michel Mayor, also of the French observatory, said: "The holy grail of current exoplanet research is the detection of a rocky, Earth-like planet in the habitable zone - a region around the host star with the right conditions for water to be liquid on a planet's surface.
"It is amazing to see how far we have come since we discovered the first exoplanet around a normal star in 1995 - the one around 51 Pegasi. The mass of Gliese 581 e is 80 times less than that of 51 Pegasi b. This is tremendous progress in just 14 years."
The discoveries were the outcome of four years of observations using a 3.6m telescope at La Silla, Chile. The previous record for the lightest exoplanet was a planet with with about four times the mass of the Earth.
The results of the study have been submitted for publication in the research journal Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Beating sniffer dogs etc. Reason I've posted this in here is because people seem reluctant to post their methods on public websites in case that particular method gets "sussed" and is then redundant...
Basically, is there any decent ways, or at least really good precautions?
I'm off to Bestival this year, and I've heard police are pretty on-top. I'm taking basically all our drugs as 3 of the others are wanting Visa's to the US next year! The other fella would basically be booted out his house if he got caught, but I'll be living in Leeds by then... however I don't want to get caught as it could really fuck up my carreer as a youth worker for a few years!12
C4 to Show Artist Eating Dead Baby. WTF?! I can not actually belive this is for real and if it is that they are going to be allowed to show it... :hopeless: :yakk:
Channel 4 was yesterday back in the dock over plans to broadcast a programme showing a performance artist eating the flesh of a dead baby. The documentary, Beijing Swings, which looks at the extreme practices of some artists in China, also shows a man drinking wine that has had an amputated penis marinaded in it.
The programme, which has been condemned by the Chinese embassy in London, will be broadcast on Thursday night. A spokesman for Channel 4 said last night: "The programme will be controversial and will shock some viewers but a warning will be given before it goes out on air."
The documentary shows stills of Zhu Yu, the artist, biting into the body of a stillborn infant. He says: "No religion forbids cannibalism. Nor can I find any law which prevents us from eating people. I took advantage of the space between morality and the law and based my work on it."
Zhu, who is a Christian, says religion has had a major impact on his work.
But the Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, said: "Jesus Christ said suffer the little ones to come unto me, not that they should be eaten for public entertainment. This programme sounds hideous."
