Calling All Insomniacs HELLO :bounce_fl:bounce_ci
I've been pondering whether or not to make this thread for a while. It's here now but it may not progress much, I imagine it will largely be a diary of my sleepless nights where I'll type (un)interesting posts until I lose conciousness or develop carpal tunnel syndrome.
So any other insomniacs out there? Why the hell am I still up at this time and any ideas that don't involve a valium addiction on how to get to sleep?
Ps hello Americans raaa I'm aware you may be awake depending where abouts in the states you are.
Somebody talk to me. I'm getting bored of my own thoughts12…3536

Sleep Injuries? Does anyone here hurt them selves whilst sleeping?
I do regularly, I woke up this morning and had pulled my shoulder in my sleep. I've twisted my knee many times b4 whilst sleeping (to the point I've not been able to walk on that leg for 2-3 days!), sprained my ankle, wrist, cricked my neck and pulled my back out before too!
WTF is that all about? I must go running in my sleep or something. :s
Mby I'm an "active" sleeper :laugh_at:1234

Sleeping position i like to lie flat on my back, at an angle, with my right leg nonchalantly draped over the wifes pins whilst hitchin my thumbs in the top band of my underpants

Lucid dreaming Has anyone ever experienced this? I suffered sleep paralysis the other day, i think i've had it before but only where ive dreamt ive woken up, it was the first time i dreamt something pinning me down or something being in my room. I didnt realise even dreaming you are awake is sleep paralysis aswell. i watched a documentary on it and they said at the end people managed to channel it into lucid dreaming pretty cool!I think it's pretty amazing, being aware of your own dream. so many different realities! i loooove it
tell me if you have had sleep paralysis and what happened i find it fascinating!12
Another pointless thread Just answer the question......
Me- yes, I was never prosecuted but I was held as the prime suspect before release after the 2004 tsunami.
Sleep Paralysis Anyone else get this? I been getting it a lot recently its fucking horrible.
Last night was probably the worse though.. I swear I was hallucinating that there was someone on top of me with a knife to my throat, then it felt like my throat got cut and I just slowly thought to myself fuck this is it and started like going "ngnggnnggng" as I was trying to talk lol. Then my eyes started closing but before they fully closed I could move again and realised I was fuckin tripping, shit me up though.
Horrible Dream I just got reminded of my dream last night by something on TV. I was getting a lift off my mate in a car and he was driving like an absolute maniac going really fast and then flying of these massive drops and we'd be falling for a while and I would think 'oh shit when we hit the ground I'm gonna be dead what the fuck!!' Then we would land unharmed and I said to him 'what are you doing man drive properly', and he would go and do the exact same thing again. It was horrible
I woke up a couple of times and then later on I had another dream that I have quite often, its when I go to skip through the air but I jump really high and far as if I'm jumping across the moon. This time though I was jumper higher and further than I wanted to and it was quite scary because I couldn't control it. At one point I jumped up and was clambering into some oncoming traffic and I thought I was gonna get land back down in the middle of this main road
Apparently these dreams show a lack of control over what I'm doing, which is probably pretty accurate since I'm trying to 'find myself' at the moment and figure out what I want to do with my life and it's stressing me out.
Anyone else had any freaky or similar dreams lately?
hate going to sleep i am really tired but i just don't want to go to sleep, even though i love sleeping. i never want to go to sleep because ive got no reason to get up early in the morning. i hate it !!
UK : East : Sleep deprived party girl jailed after fatal road collision An unfortunate and unpleasant incident and relatively common in this region due to its large geographic size, lack of public transport, and car ownership at a young age intermixed with bad "road education" (unlike Holland where there is 24/7 public transport and regular road control checks and fines are about 5 times the amount of ours + disqual, retest and all sorts else)
Though she had taken drugs, the investigators and judge accepted that sleep deprivation was the main cause of the collision (which is very often the case in these sorts of RTCs). She didn't help matters though by lying to the blue light services and for some reason having another girls driving license hanging around in the car (had she not done this she probably would have had an even shorter sentence or not gone to jail at all).
One major reason I stopped partying in this region was seeing friends of mine involved in a RTC just after a party, thankfullly no one was killed but one girl did have permanent injuries, not complete loss of mobility but to an extent she will have back pain for the rest of her days.. in fact my younger friends say more of their friends have died through traffic collisions than drugs and amongst local work colleagues in their 20s who have never done drugs they are always burying their young friends from road crashes...

What happens to you when you don’t sleep for a long long time..? So I haven't slept in 3 days straight because i've had so much work, and so much caffeine. What would happen to my body physically and emotionally if I stayed awake for another week? I think I have insomnia but I do get pretty tired during the day, I just can't bring myself to go to sleep. Would it be harmful, like would I start to hallucinate or something?
Weird dream state while up Has this happened to anyone else, i do it quite a lot while 'up'
i was sat down dancing in a very repetitive way when i had a conversation with the person i was with and some other random guy who was there, it finished with my mate asking me a question but as i replied i snapped back to reality and answered it, he then asked me what i was on about, it was really weird like a dream but felt really real.
this happens quite a lot, once i shouted out "we need some mint" at someone without knowing why i couldn't remember where i went for that to happen just remember darkness for like 2 mins.
the worst time was before i realized i did this i went into this dream state and somehow ended up in a field, i remember the grass was really green and the sky was really blue but then i came back to dancing in the night club. speaking to people they say i am just staring into the distance dancing really repetitively while this is happening and its always when i relax slightly and sort of slowly drift off.
this is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.
this has always happened when i do half a gram in three bombs over the course of the night and its always later on. I was thinking it could be because my body would be really tired but i have no idea.
