Boy held over fake gun at school Sounds crazy..
But with the school murders in US and 2 weeks ago in Finland where 9 people got killed ,I can understand the fear from the schools..
But is this crossing the line?
The school my kids attend have a policy saying that NO kids may take fake weapons to school,no matter what age..
I can see some of the toy guns we can buy for our kids looks exactly like real weapons..
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly carrying an imitation gun at his school in West Sussex. Police were called to Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School, in Buckswood Drive, Crawley, on Tuesday.
The boy, who is from the Crawley area, was detained and later released on police bail until next week.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "We arrested a boy on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm in a public place."
The school has about 1,300 pupils aged between 11 and 18.

Anyway theres a thread over on SJ about immigrants "stealing our benefit money" which has wound me up to the point where I want to go mental with a 2x4 lamping facists in the street.
People believe the shit the BNP feed them and think its perfectly reasonable. I just don't understand it, they feed on peoples fear and fill anyone who will listen with complete bullshit and people believe it.
I hate racism and bigotry but the idea of an organisation actively supporting it and receiving government funding (BNP during scottish elections) totally disgusts me. Some of the most disgustingly viious attacks I have ever seen in my life have been carried out for supposed "political reasons", where skinheads have attacked foreigners just for being foreign.
This is my country but I am not proud of it and I am most definately not proud that this shit is allowed to go on. Where do you draw the line?
The worst thing is legal channels will not sort a mind ruled by hatred even Adolf Hitler himself admitted that
the only way the rise of the German nazi party could have been prevented was if its enemies had recognised it for what it was right at the start and had smashed it in its infancy with utmost force.
Its scary to think that if they get into power I won't be arround. People like me who stand for everything they hate will not be tolerated, whether I am active or not.

UK : East : a worker has made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us all powered up.. I think we take these chaps for granted sometimes and expect the lights / computers to always be working, because no one wants a power cut even for a few minutes/hours whilst maintenance is done a lot of them are made to work live on 400V or even 11,000v or 33,000v bare overhead cables...
Ironically now the whole village and industrial estate has had to go dark because the cops and HSE will want to check over the incident scene (clearly it would be too dangerous for them to do so near live wires) and everyone will have to wait until EDF can get a genset to the area..
