Sodomise your MP – your new right? So, if it's wrong for Muslims to condemn homosexuality, is it now your right to sodomise your local MP as homosexuality can not be opposed without being labelled "an extremist".

The Skinwalker ranch Utah This place is a supernatural hotspot, there was a big scientific investigation by NIDS fronted by aerospace mogul Bob Bigelow. I have been listening to some podcasts about the place and it sounds really creepy. Normally I dismiss things like this but where you have world class scientists giving there accounts on crazy supernatural events I makes me thin wowzers.

Philosophy Thread Didn't see a thread on this so thought i'd make one as I know a few of us here at PV are into philosophy.
How do you know you're alive if you haven't been dead?
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
If a tree falls in a forest but there is no one around to hear it, does it make a noise?
Science tells us that you can't make something from nothing, so how did the big bang occur? What was there before the Big Bang? And before that?

Do psychics really contact the diseased? What is your opinion on psychics contacting the dead? Do you think they can, if so, how is it possible?
Does anyone have any experience of seeing a psychic and contacting a relative?1234

The key to happiness.. Hello everyone, hope your all doing fine on this lovely friday evening
I just wanted to pass on my advice for getting happy and remaining that way..
First of all think positive about everything, it may be hard at first but soon it just becomes habit. This is really good because when you see the best of every situation. This has made me such a happier person its crazy.
Second, be confident in yourself. Before i was confident i had social anxiety and was basically a recluse. Now that i'm a confident motherfucker, i get random girls eying me up playing with their hair etc. etc. which also makes me feel much better as a result!
Third is, healthy diet. Despite what you think, eating those crisps really aren't doing you any good. After 3-4 days of eating healthy as a motherfucker, my energy levels are doubled as well as with my happiness levels. You can also take multivitamins etc. aswell if you please, which do help. I take 1000mg cod liver oil daily :D
Also exercise a lot, you will feel a lot better. If you work out a lot too and get a nice physique this will also boost your confidence!12
Religion thoughts. Hey guys, i was born into the baptist christian religion but now i'm thinking about considering myself agnostic or undecided.
The reason i have a hard time letting myself be agnostic or undecided is because OCD tends to make you over think things, also i've been raised into this religion my WHOLE life,it's hard to let myself believe in something else because of how i've been raised. but never 100% believed in it fully, which they say you have to FULLY believe in God in order to be saved truly, but i honestly think EVERYONE has their doubts, anybody else have really christian families but has doubts often? anybody else cant allow themselves to believe in something else that you truly believe in?

There was no mention of more sex or bungee jumps. A palliative nurse who has counselled the dying in their last days has revealed the most common regrets we have at the end of our lives. And among the top, from men in particular, is 'I wish I hadn't worked so hard'.
Bronnie Ware is an Australian nurse who spent several years working in palliative care, caring for patients in the last 12 weeks of their lives. She recorded their dying epiphanies in a blog called Inspiration and Chai, which gathered so much attention that she put her observations into a book called The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.
Ware writes of the phenomenal clarity of vision that people gain at the end of their lives, and how we might learn from their wisdom. "When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently," she says, "common themes surfaced again and again."
Here are the top five regrets of the dying, as witnessed by Ware:
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
"This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it."
2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
"This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret, but as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence."
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
"Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result."
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
"Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying."
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
"This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content, when deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again."
