A Dutch man has died after being kicked and punched by a group of teenage football players for whom he acted as linesman in a Sunday league match.
Richard Nieuwenhuizen collapsed and was taken to hospital hours after he was beaten by three players from Amsterdam club Nieuw Sloten. He died on Monday.

MCCartney opening the Olympics Did anyone stay up and watch the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics?
I went to a BBQ party and while the food and company were great I have to say that I was greatly disappointed by the opening ceremony.
McCartney at the end was like putting a really bad icing on a very bad cake, imoa. He couldnt keep his tune and he looked terrible.
I think the entire thing was a serious embarrasment. Feel very let down by it all.

Loggy’s 100th thread since the accident. Well I seem to be storming my way back to my former status since a had a run in with the spambuster. For my 100th thread i'm gonna talk about sport;
I have never been that much of an athlete but I used to have a keen interest in rock climbing while I was still in full time education, but nowdays I don't reall do much sport except the odd kick around over the park.
