I want to go clubbing! Wanna come with? Hello.
I'm a girl in my late 20s. I've been away from London for a few years, one thing I really missed was the nightlife. Now that I'm back in London it seems like most of my mates moved past the clubbing scene. I'm big into house, tribal house, funky house etc and I love a big night out in fabric or similar clubs. So, I'm looking for someone to go clubbing with. Not really sure I would like it completely on my own. So if you like clubbing and want to go out and have a BIG night. Get in touch!
Meet people to go clubbing with? Clubbing on my own? Hey there!
I am 30 and have only lived in London a couple of years and looking to meet new people to go clubbing with.
I have reached that stage of where my friends are not into that type of music(wouldnt be seen dead in one of those places) lol and are into mainstream £$^$$ or are hooked up, married with kids etc, when i do get the chance my friends end up leaving early and end up being on my own but then i end up meeting fun and intersting people!
When i get chance i like to go to Fabric and go to ADE festival in Amsterdam i went in October it was awesome!12
meetup.com: for those seeking clubbing mates in London following on from the clubbing on your own thread, here is a link to a meetup site im a member of that organises nights out around london for those who love there house music. plenty of clubbers in the same boat who want to share the love of music.

Club nights in brighton tonight 27th april 2013 What a load of shit, all the good clubs are playing shit, deep fucking house that doesn't even resemble deep house. R&B, I mean WTF is going on, why would they be playing R&B at a club where people go to avit. Noisia is on down the concorde but it's 15 jib on the door and it will probably get full and be all one in and one out. Everywhere else is playing shit cheese and shit crap. Volks has a 30k system tongight but it's dubstep. Is it too much to ask for a break beat night once in a while. I may have to cut my wrists.
Security Team At South London’s "Coronet" Fuck up The Rat Pack’s 25th Annaversary!!! I've been to that place twice, and both times there's been an attempted robbery towards either me or a friend. I was lucky to retain my cash, they went to swipe it out of my hand by punching me in the face to shock me then grabbing my cash at the bar but i got it back out of his grip and just took the one punch in the face before i swiftly moved to the door area where the bouncers were, but only for them to side with the people trying to rob me and kick me out for trying to steal THEIR money!!h
My friend stupidly took a £2000-£3000 family heirloom (a solid gold antique Buddha pendant on a gold chain) around his neck to the other rave we went to there (after many attempts of me trying to talk everyone out of even going)! Some guy tried to swipe it from around his neck, and my mate just floored him in about 2 punches, but then 3-4 others suddenly appeared and kicked the living shit out of him. He had something like 30% vision in one of his eyes and bout 60% in the other for a fair while after that, they thought he was going to go blind as the guys were stomping/kicking his head whilst he was on the floor. The all happened 10-15 foot away from the bouncers and they did NOTHING, nothing what so ever! They just let it happen.
It's funny how they defend the robbers and chuck out the person getting robbed, then let some people who seriously physically assault someone just vanish like that from right under their noses. I've seen bouncers in cahoots with local thieves at a fair few venue's but this really was a piss take. Normally it's just a little scrota nicking a girls bag when their not looking and dumping the thing in the toilets with the bouncers blessing for a cut, not a full on assault being let get away with (they took his chain as well ofc).
I mean I know it happens some places, I've actually witnessed my friend get the shit beat out of him by a bouncer whilst i was being held and forced to watch by another after asking where the exit was and being told, "you can come this way" and escorting us into the fire escape, only for that to happen. In this instance it was a few minor bruises and a bloodied nose, caused by a few punches NOT someone stamping on their head ffs!

[h=5]Announcement from Rat Pack
To all of our fans who attended last night. We firstly wish to thank you for your continued support and love. Without you our music is nothing and we know this and have never lost sight of it.
Last night our party was intended to celebrate our fine achievement of 25 years in the Dance Music Industry. We worked hard to bring you a feast of UK talent and our wish was to bring you a night you will never forget.
We are heartbroken today to see that so many of you were left in the cold and not looked after accordingly by the venue security and staff. We feel strongly that we was let down by the venue and this was the main reason for the failure of organisation on the door and queuing systems.
We wish to tell you the facts as we have them right now and we will update you accordingly at each and every step of the way.
Our ticket allocation data 2 weeks ago (March 14th) was cut off at 2400 pre sales. The remainder of tickets (400) which would have taken us to the venue capacity was held back, for the door.
We apologise to each and every one of you who experienced such unpleasant circumstances last night. We are heartbroken.
This event was never intended to be a 'money spinner' Our DJ costs, production costs, venue costs and so forth were high. This was because this was intended to be a celebration of UK dance music for you, our cherished fans.
We have had to consult people prior to be able to update you and whilst you're frustrated (understandably so) please understand we have to be factual when we tell you the situation. This has taken some time and we appreciate fully your patience.

They haven't mentioned it officially but it sounds like the security were up to their old tricks again going by some of the comments people have made on face book about things that happened.
I may of gone to this had I not caught the flu a few days ago, and that was after vowing never to go back to that place again.
Just a word of warning peeps. :group_hug
Can't help but feel a bit sorry for The Rat Pack, they are getting sooo much stick for this, like it was personally them who planned it all to happen like this lol. For some reason the afterparty never opened it's doors either, after everyone had already bought advanced tickets.
Clubbing in Brighton, United Kindom a joke I don't know how many of you live in Brighton or down South in the UK, but is it just me or does everywhere these days in Brighton just play the same old shit!
To me now it's just shitty labeled nights called milk, lolli pop, chocolate factory, or some other pathetic name and just plays chart music, hip hop, rnb, dubstep.
They are all full of pretentious kids posing taking pictures of themselves and wankers (same thing really).
No matter where I look I just can't find anything decent any more..
Only way I can find something decent is if I venture up to London, but that's a mission.
All I want is some House or Trance :bounce_flor something. None of this pop chart shit.
Anyone else feel the same way?12
