Is the rave scene "dead"? Or at least dying? I've read many articles and forums, and it seems that many of the people involved with the scene in the 90's believe that it is dead. I'm not sure about any of you guys, but personally I missed the 90's era of rave due to being born in 1989. There are still parties that happen down here, maybe 1 to 2, every month or every other month which I try to attend. The vibes are pretty good, but then again, I have nothing to compare it to. Were the 90's raves really that much better? From all the videos I've watched of early 90's raves, it does seem like that time was really the golden era of the scene. What are your thoughts on this? Does a scene in your area exist?123

Originally influenced by the UK Hip Hop scene, everything changed after hearing a DJ Zinc and MC Shabba tape from Slammin Vinyl NYE Y2K. From that moment, he became a disciple of Drum and Bass with a devotion to the genre that has pushed him into becoming one of the UK's top young up and coming DJs.
In the last six years Harry Bizzle has gone from giving out free CDs at raves and playing at local nights to joining Eksman's "Team Overload" and Nutcracka's "Flyin Squad", having his own fortnightly show on the flagship radio station Kool London and regularly playing main room sets at events such as Breakin Science, Innovation, SunBeatz, Raveology, Overload, Eternal Muzic, Sticky, Low Down Deep & Highgrade.

Private rave party My own parents (of a similar age) had to emigrate from Malaya because of this; but my grandmother (on my mums side) forgave them in 1972 when I was born.
I know very little about Dads side of the family (he was also disowned for not having an arranged marriage after completing his Catholic sixth form education) but this may be also due to language barriers; they would have spoken Hokkien which my Dad did not understand (he was taught in English, and picked up some Malay in sixth form and teacher training college); and my family name is widely duplicated across Malaysia and Singapore..
But I had always been led to believe England had changed by the 1960s/1970s; and stuff like this didn't happen amongst white British communities that recently (the Navy chaps parents basically wanted him to have an arranged marriage!)
What is worse though is the parents remained stubborn and were prepared to go to their graves not knowing their grandchildren... then again I've been told in all seriousness by people my age in rural areas that some of the well off farming families still have arranged marriages (some bits of Mid Suffolk aren't too far diverged from Malaysia or Indonesia in the 1970s...)

Private rave party Hey guys...
Me and some pals are planning our first own rave party. We know a lot of hobby-djs who will deejay for a small pay... Another point we are planning at the moment is the laser-/lightshow that should look like that one so we hope to find someone really professional. We already rent a free area and a tent like one of that ones. We want to finance the location, musik, drinks, security and all that other stuff by entrance fees (even if we won't have a profit in the end, it should be a great event). Therefor we need a lot of people to come and to do a lot of advertising. So that is where i could need your help... We advertise per local radio station and want to hang out some placards. Until now we couldn't find an offeror, that really seems to be very professional. google only shows 'cards' instead of placards in shops and shows the definition :annoyed:
But i dont need the f****** definition! i need a professional shop! can anyone here help me and knows some offerors of placards???

Serial Killaz Sunbeatz Ibiza Mix 2014 I'm amazed these idiots are not arrested; surely the CCTV would show up at least some of these incidents? Guide dogs wear a reflective harness; and crashing into any dog or pedestrian is against the law.
It doesn't happen here in Suffolk; nor is it common any other European city which makes me wonder if its a London thing and due to cycling there perhaps being dominated by "angry young men" (who are often as bad if not worse in cars and the same types who get into fights around public transport area). I have noticed though (as I ride through a very multicultural part of Ipswich) that younger people from foreign communities tend to behave better on the streets (whether on foot or on wheels) and give everyone else room, whereas British kids tend to "hold their ground" and often create dangerous situations. That may however just be because foreigners think cops are always watching them, and there are always cops in that area, so they behave.....
I have a 110dB siren I bought from London (as the traditional bells take up too much space on the handlebars of an e-bike) but very rarely have to use it; if you are not riding like you are trying to win a race its easy enough to slow down for other road users....

This tape is very special, nobody dared record these parties but the Exodus crew, fortunately i new a guy who did and the tape has ended up in my possession many years later......HA....

I know there are a few dj Hazard Exodus sets on Youtube and a couple of dj Guy Exodus hardcore recordings on a few other sites but none of them are like this.

The Prototypes SunBeatz Mix 2014 Hey! I have just joined & thought I'd say hello before going exploring... I am a single mother with a troubled past which I have only just been able to deal with (after 10yrs) I am 30yrs old & have brought my son up practically alone since he was 1yr old. He has Aspergers Syndrome & ADHD he is the most incredible person & he got bitten by a dog 2 years ago, it ripped half his face open :( he had reconstructive plastic surgery & just never fails to amaze me with his strength & attitude after he has had a rather damaging/traumatic life so far - he is only 11yrs old. We love being outside & along with our border collie (7yrs) & our rottieX rescue (6yrs) we go exploring beautiful peaceful places - beaches, forests etc as my boy struggles with noise & it helps him relax & stay balanced & my dogs come everywhere with us! I have 2 jobs PT with horses. I own my own horse but he's on loan. We both love animals & have previously owned loads from snakes/lizards - rats, only have 3 Chinchillas left! & that's 'us' ;)
