[font=verdana,arial,helvetica]A MAN caught with heroin at the Betws mountain rave tried to eat the evidence, magistrates were told.[/font]
[font=verdana,arial,helvetica]Alexander Caulder, of 56 Kellaway Avenue, Bristol, appeared in Ammanford Court on Thursday.[/font]
[font=verdana,arial,helvetica]The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of Class A drugs. Prosecutor Ken Jones said: "He was seen by police on Betws mountain where there was an illegal rave. "He was swaying from side to side, his speech was slurred and his eyes were wide open. "He was searched. They found a metal glasses case with white residue, a syringe, and three used needles."[/font]
[font=verdana,arial,helvetica]Caulder told police he had purchased 1.3g of heroin - two wraps for £10 each - in Bristol, and he was using citric acid as a mix to inject himself.[/font]

"One year ago he decided to pull himself together and leave behind his previous life. "This is a relapse.
