if this were a troll we could at least laugh about it. This is a bleaker situation. This guy, like many others, used to be a raver.
I know of too many people myself who used to be ravers but support EDL and other right wing organisations simply because they see people from other minority groups doing “better than them” through hard work, coupled with being burned out from drugs (in fact drugs arrests are relatively common at EDL marches compared to even “left wing” ones, or unlike the BNP who take a anti drugs stance).
In reality, there is nowhere in England or the EU where anyone can be forced to join a faith group or follow its laws. Nor will that happen in anywhere in the EU, as it is against human rights law.
If there are issues with faith group laws being enforced in England its because of our ancient history and that we don’t completely separate church from state, not because of recent leaders.
If people from Muslim countries with bad régimes get more economic power in our nation its more because of our oil dependency than any Islamic conspiracy, and can be stopped to a great extent by changing our lifestyles to use less energy. in other countries where strict faith group laws apply they normally only apply to followers of that faith group, or they make a clear stand on what is and isn’t allowed. you have the option to boycott these nations and their products.
BTW in the early 1990s in England there was loads of young Muslims, some quite militant and doing stuff what was blatantly illegal and linked to organised crime, yet ravers did absolutely jack shit about it because they were too busy getting high and the economy was booming.
Even the BNP and NF were too busy harrassing black people in South London.
Moderate Muslims even swallowed their pride and mentioned their concerns to the Police – they, and even the Police were ignored by the then government as these young lads were students from rich families investing lots of money in Thatchers Britain.
it was this what helped spawn todays bitter issues and divisions.
And I am aware one of the EDL leaders is Asian – seen video of him using a march as a opportunity to bust in the windows of another British Asian owned business, commercial rival maybe? (this sort of shit happens all the time amongst the British asian community and is blamed (or justified) as “religion” but its simply anger and envy of what others have achieved through hard work).
All this has only come about because of the economic depression and the politics of envy rather than any real desire to make England a more positive and friendly place to live in.
