Sup y’all. This may sound like a stupid question, but I’ve been doing pills for roughly around two years now and I’ve never drank whilst on them. However, this weekend I’m going to a drum and bass event and I’m planning on having a few drinks, double dropping my only two gurners, and then having a few more drinks on top of that.

I was just wondering if this upped the effect of the pills or if it lessens the effect of the pills, or just how it feels in general.

i would not advise drinking on XTC – everyone i know who has done so grumbles about the pills not being as good

on another note you are giving your organs double the work to do which is never good and alcohol will blur your perceptions so that you may not realise early enough as you start getting into trouble
alcohol dehydrates the body and this makes it easier for you to overheat and get badly dehydrated without noticing as a result of the XTC[cos drunks are oh so perceptive arent they?]
why do the alcohol and the pills – do one or the other and save some cash :groucho::groucho::groucho:

it turns your stomach inside out, it is not as good as doing pills on their own and you end up doing daft things like rolling down bramble-covered embankments on the A14…

Hey, thanks for the advice guys.

By the way I gotta mention when I say drinking I don’t mean getting totally wasted and then necking the pills, I was just gonna have a few to get a little tipsy or drunk, then neck the ickle ones and maybe have one or two drinks after that.

The only reason I was gonna drink whilst on gurners though was because I thought it meant enhance the overall experience, as I have a fairly high tolerance level and two don’t really do a lot, plus I’ve spoken to a few people in the past and they all agreed that alcohoal goes prefectly with any drug, espically pills.

Anyways, thanks for the overall advice and I’ll probaly just stick to the pills, but you never know…:wink:

if you have developed tolerance the accepted safe method of reducing it is to have a break of 3+ weeks from the pills i thought [feel free to jump in if i am wrong folks ]

yeah if they’re not working, leave them alone for a month or two

maybe a bit of speed to keep you going if you need it, but alcohol definately doesn’t enhance e. e is a stimulant and drink is a depressant; they just cancel each other out

I must say that I love a few cans of stellas or red stripe when I’m on xtc. Doesnt have a negative effect on me. I would be more worried about double dropping to be honest, always a bad idea in my opinion.
