yep the council are supportive to the charity we raise funds for….
its all planned and organised by myself and very ltd funds and supportive local people.huge amount of voluntary time put into this event
whilst its a free event , its not a free party allday rave as u guys know them.
its a kid friendly event raising funds for charity.its with council support so will be aware of sound levels etc so to ensure further events can happen.there will be low key security team to keep an eye out for situations such as last year when some pilled up 14 year olds poured beer over people’s heads and trampled over flower beds . . we have art and craft activities for kids. a licensed bar for cold beer and cider.
its a chance to hear dj’s and artists who play recognised festivalls and dj over europe and uk for free
ist half of event is dub,trip hop,downtempo and old school hiphop scratching
2nd half deep etchno electro , dubstep and tough forward think broken beats such as si begg, domu, deep techno.
theres no….psy trance, hard techno,gabba,drum n bass, hard house , noisecore if thats u r bag.there is no DJ slots free or space for Mcs.
the reason for no local electro heads (i guess u mean cuba gang) is im not into their music and that is catered for aplenty by cuba events and the keep off the grass events)
if u come come , say hello. u can help by letting me know if there is any problems u may see that may jeopradise the events safety for other people or me in running an event again.i’d like to do this annually and need to keep on good side of council..( i have to have insurance,risk assessments etc so need to be aware of anythings )
