So its been my first summer of raveing, had lots of fun, met some new friends (though not very many all things considerd, im far too shy (eg i dont know a single person from a rig and most of the numbers i have got have been from internet decetective work)). Did me the world of good overall as i was in a bad way socially speaking (hardly ever leaveing the house, lost contact with lots of old friends due to one thing and another) and got me out of the house. But now I want to put my efforts into a degree, so im takeing a brake from raveing and partys.

However im still gonna post lots on here because its full of interesting inteligent people *nods*.

Anyone else taking a bit of a brake this winter?

ps its also cost my lots of money i dont have and an overdraft will only go so far! (its the bloody petrol!)

hopefully they’ll be less parties as the weather gets colder, which will force me to have a break cause im crap at saying no. saying that tho there is a party on next weekend somewhere… 😉 the run up to christmas always gets pretty messy as well. Usually have a break sometime in january. Free party season started end of feb up here this year tho… :hopeless:

yeah i know what u mean about less partys over the summer, the hard part used to be choseing which one to go to, now its more of a ring round to try and find something happening. saying that last weekend there were about 3 to chose from and i know of a couple of things happening this weekend. I just hate the cold lol

yep halloween parties, christmas parties, then cant miss out on the new years phatty, then before you know it its spring again…

i know people who havnt taken a break for more than 15 years, i wouldnt bother taking a rest… but dont listen to me… im just a bad influence

well thats a good point possibly the best party iv ever been to was on halloween and iv already herd talk of chrismass rigs and what not. tricky, very tricky.

the longest break ive had in the last 10yrs where i stopped everything, well i say everything just persians and smoking (still went out) was for six months. :crazy_dizzy: at least i dont smoke anymore tho… 😉

I’ve taken a long ol break from the parties, last one i went to was AGES ago! probably in round March or so. Wouldn’t mind going again, i like the winter ones, i find you have to put more of an effort in, so dance more to keep warm! 😉

Im always up for partying at the moment, really looking forward to halloween and NYE hopefully. Mind you I had a 6 month break over last winter, no rugs atall, did me the world of good and was well fresh and enthusiastic for summer. raaa

I’d almost be tempted to go back to Suffolk for a halloween party- they always used to be the most having it of the year.

Certainly not the best time to take a break , as the winter parties are just warming up.
It seems that this ,year for me anyways, that the summer was very quiet and the winter will be ram packed with mess.
