Never, ever, consider having a night out in Northampton. Somehow the club owners have managed to completely lose track of who their clientele are and are putting on music that is completely inappropriate to their punters. People go for a night out and leave early in droves.

Do NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, have a night out in Northampton. Even if you live there. Go to Birmingham or London instead.

HAHA love it. I haven’t been out in N’hampton for ages because it does indeed suck! If your in that area, Leamington has some good nights out, but yeah, Lonon is the one, only 50 mins on the train from here.

where I work, we have an equal mixture of British and foreign staff as in some of the areas we cover there literally aren’t enough younger people to do the work (they move away to the towns or London).

so many foreigners send in CVs, and English is not their first language (although they are way better at English than many people are at European languages!) one of them put on his CV he had been a “security guard in Northamptonshite”.

Sometimes a lot of truth is found in a typo….

i used to live in northampton aswell.. and yea its shit. havent been out for a night there since i got proper into the music scene, but used to go to soundhaus on a sat for blastchamber when i was like 14. had many good nights there, if your into metal. i like the penny whistle and roadmender aswell.. but again- this was all when i was a greeeeebo

Hi All ,
This thread made me laugh , it’s so true Northampton is shite and so is Wellingborough . I only visit Wellingborough cos i have relatives there , but if you have no reason to stop my advice is keep driving!!!!! . 🙂
