i did acid for the 1st time on my birthday. the 1st half it was all about blue for some reason, but the second half i was closing my eyes and seeing this really potent pink colour… and then i watched the olympics and every time i watch it is the same pink as in my trip… so is that a flashback?… :p

pretty common if you have INTENSE visual trips and for most doesn’t last that long and isn’t much of a bother.

I dont quite think that is a ‘flash back’
Acid makes your eyes concentrate on certain patterns/colours/lines ect. That otherwise are so common place you dont.

For me acid made me really notice lines…especially creases in fabric.
Every now and then whem i come across. Say the dressing gown hanging up in the bathroom, the creases and lines really stand out like when i take cid :p

Also as somebody quite into art, when I spend all day sketching an animal, when i see an animal i start intently noticing the the contures of its face and the lines in its fur !
Or if i draw something with alot of light, i will start to notice light reflections on every object.

flashbacks occur all the time in your life. i’ve had visuals from cid come back to me for 30 seconds quite a few times usually during sleep (waking)…

Not had flashbacks but have HPPD I think, get visual snow and occasionally object appear to morph slightly but I know they’re not, nothing major though.
How do flashbacks work? Is it just like tripping again but x amount of time later, or is it just remembering part of a trip randomly?

Yeh, that sounds like HPPD. Yes, it’s just like tripping again x amount of time later. Literally a ‘flash-back’ to the original feelings and sensations of the trip.
