So he didn’t do a full stretch but a very short one (time on remand counts towards a sentence). It sounds harsh but say that bottle contained 50 doses of acid – its still dealing quantities – and if just two people needed even temporary NHS treatment for a but thats the same cost as it is to keep him on remand for a month..

I thought it was really lenient tbh was amazed he got out. Glad he did though obviously.

I know a guy who got caught with bulk mdma and coke, then got caught with bulk coke again. Also other crimes but never got prison time, suspended sentence and tag though.

My mate said his sisters boyfriend got caught with over 200 grams of coke and got off without time. Fuck no hows that works tho, i think the guy wasnt chatting shit about it tho.

They must have very good lawyers lol. My friend got 6 years for weed, not sure how much weed he had though and it was not in uk.

Depends a lot on your circumstances. If you have a job and a stable family life, the feds often don’t want to totally fuck this up and make you into a worse angry criminal – thats the sort of knockback that can make folk turn to serious/organised or even violent crime.

I know that when I’ve been nicked the cops have treated me a bit more leniently because I’ve always had a job and its clear I am not making obvious cash from dealing and have never been in trouble for violence or dishonesty either…

the British justice system does give people a few chances TBH..

the prisons are a tad full at the moment. This has got to play a role I am sure.
