ye i did saliva scary stuff felt like i was sinking into the floor, not my cup of tea, but shpongles new album is quite mellow, less of the hyper active sounds and more peaceful.

It is a bit less spooky, but generally I was unimpressed, I found it not very ‘psychedelic’ in general, rather uninspiring. A few nice tracks (that almost border on pop influence.. english lyrics? pah) but not the amazing epics that ‘nothing lasts’ and ‘tales of the inexpressible’ were

Ah yeah i’ve got that one I thought it was a nice change from their usual but not too much you know? More formalaic than previous albums though..

The first is the best one I think (Flock of Bleeps) – the first 4 tracks on that are quality. I know what you mean though – it’s not as consistently good as his earlier Shpongle stuff and didn’t grab me straight away…not as psychedelic I guess.

Yeah I know & love younger brother, saw them with shpongle-live in london a little while ago unfortunately i had an argument with my misses right at the start of shpongle and had to leave after only one or two songs! :O

I’d recommend All I want by Younger Brother off the album The Last Days of Gravity. They seem to span from proper shpongle-like psy to almost generic rock..
