Irrational anger can be a side effect of stimulant use but usually only when the substance’s effect wears off and/or the user is stressed by other issues outside his/her control. I’m not sure where this young woman currently is but at the time she made that post she was studying in a European country which was not her native birthplace and was under other stresses, it also appeared the supply of this particular drug was most likely 100% legit from a prescription in her home country.
it is otherwise really difficult to get in Europe as a pharm – it is rarely prescribed and when it is supplies are monitored more closely and limited, and it is referred to as “dexamfetamine” (this Germanic spelling now being used even where the first language is English) instead of a brand name (Europe is 28 countries which all have interlinked public healthcare services so they picked the most common spelling in all the languages).
The way doctors in the USA prescribe stimulants (especially to young adults to help them with focus and motivation) and many other controlled substances “off label” has been strongly discouraged in most European countries for 30-40 years and repeatedly doing it will get a doctor investigated by their professional standards body.
At the same time amfetamine type stimulants can be readily obtained across Europe and many are not even controlled as most countries do not have an “analogues act” – for newer substances they only become controlled after there have been provable reports of fatal ODs/health problems from more than one country.
So it is way easier to obtain street drugs or research chemicals than risk getting caught for diversion of pharms (as jobs in European healthcare are more secure and relatively well paid),
it does seem strange but society in the USA and Asia seems to overlook loose prescription from healthcare professionals but is more judgmental about recreational use, whereas its the other way round in Europe.
