anything is plausible if you believe in magic – which is effectively what a civilisation with technology so far in advance of our own that it is beyond comprehension has. Sure it’s ‘plausible’ that something could exist and completely erradicate all evidence of itself. But that sort of logic is similar to what religious people and conspiracy theorists use, and can’t be considered scientific. Although I hope I’m wrong, I love the concept of ancient advanced civilisations, I’d be the first person there if we ever found anything exciting.

and I’m with you on lighting up your drug of choice and enjoying life 😛

i like your point about the relation to religion / conspiracy, its a good way to explain that.

The christian crusaders may have defaced old writings and artwork but they didnt encounter any technology more advanced than their own. It’s not like the pyramids were covered with blueprints on how to make teleporters or anything.

well i’m not sure they nesersaraly had better technology as in space ships and lazer beams.. but i belive they had some that we were/are not aware of … anything the crusaids would of found of use they would of kept for them selves .. and anything they found to be detrimental they would of destroyed .. what is what seems to have happened .. the peramids aparently were originaly used for storing nrg just like a battery now days would and there are belifes that they had power tools … imo the main thing that they were more advanced in was sociaty and social interactions … i belive the key to harmonious living was held by some of these civalisations and was lost in the crusades
