Pure heroin does pretty much 0 damage to your body taken at the right dose … the only thing that makes people die from it are OD’s, dodgy gear, colapsing viegns, unclean works and shoddy injecting etc. oh and AIDs as well if you’re sharing needles.
afaik if you were to be given heroin professionly by a nurse every day for you whole life you’d have no heath problems in old age due to it. (this is why alot of opiates/opoids are used in medical situations all the time as they don’t damage the body)

alltho it’s the addiction and lack of care for your self when addicted to smack that fucks people up .. i’ve seen exactly the same thing happen to people who drink (encluding me at one point in my life)
