This is suddenly on the market and even after asking a man that knows about these sorts of things if ALD-52 might actually give me an ergoline based psychedelic experience andbeing told the answer is no. It’s fucking ALD-52 so this is likely to be flooding thw streets soon.
Weird that its around cause you gotta go through LSD-25 to make it.
Yes I know that mate. Thing is with every single derivative described in TIHKAL, AL-LAD, ETH-LAD and so on, LSD025 has to be produced (then converted to nor-LSD or something lik that) to get to the others. Bizarre situation indeed and shows the labs in China that have produced every single one of these analogues of LSD for the RC/grey market has produced vast quantities of LSD-25 as an intermediate in the production of the end products. Purely I iagine to the UN convention outright banning LSD-25.
Banning stuff my name is the dumbest shit ever and leads to what you mentioned in your post
Thing is banning by generic description is just as useless if not severely damagingto the future production of medicines. Over here they’ve tried banning the entire phenethylamine and tryptamine classes by generic description, several times. Every few years that definition has to be expanded to cover ew modifications to the starting compound nd even with the expanded definition, some still get added by name because the generic description still doesn’t cover everything. Similar to that joke you call the Analogue Act.
yup yup
banning stuff is dumb unless obvious harm is coming about like with PMA PMMA and stuff like that but if you’re in the business of banning stuff, then having to name every compound is inefficent and then having to add stuff when the generic description fails makes the guys doing the banning look dumb as well.
Analogue Act is almost as bad as the DEA having emergency scheduling powers. Always humourous when people who never did any drugs get to decide drug policy.
USA v. Forbes really shows how lacking the DEA is of the knowledge of chemistry required to make these laws/decisions and how much a bunch of ass hats they are when it comes to amending their own laws.. So it gets proven in court that AET is not similar chemically/physiologically to DET or DMT in fucking Federal Court so instead of using this is a learning experience and amending the Analogue Act they just banned AET by name. The district court in colorado ruled that the Analogue Act is unconstitutionally vague but this ruling only has precedent in the Federal District of Colorado. So essentially a FEDERAL COURT ruled the Analogue Act unconstitutional under common law principles dating to the Magna Carta or thereabouts but due to the insulated structure of the federal courts system this only applies in 1 out of 50 states… hmmm smells like bullshit to me, I’m all for keeping people safe but the DEA isn’t doing that, they’re just the furthest evolution of the thought police we have, can’t control what people think if they’re doing drugs that make them think different things.
Nice example. Why the fuck did it take a, no doubt very expensive court case to prove that 2 things, with different names and structures, are different. I’m no chemist, maybe slightly ahead of some in this narrow area, but does it take chemistry knowledga of any kind to be pretty sure an alpha-ethyl is not similar to a di-ethyl, and therefore neither are similar to di-methyl, or alpha-ethyl etc.
Actually it got deeper than that(not really): you can’t synth AET from DMT or DET and it is a primary amine and DMT/DET are tertiary amines.
I mean I don’t think the guys at the DEA got past 10th grade chemistry so I’m not mad at them for their ignorance I’m mad that the Analogue Act couldn’t be struck down for its vaugeness.
OH no doubt an actual chemist drove a coach and horses through the gaps i the governments arguements on this.
i think you could of manuevered a cruise liner through the gaps
