Amsterdam (and NL as a whole) makes more money from tourists who just go there for other stuff than illegal drugs and this would still continue… they have already some 2 years ago closed down many of the large dance music events…

All booked for queensday at the end of april mate, i’m not a massive smoker anyway so it won’t bother me. My mates will be gutted though.

where did the initial evidence this is happening come from? seems a bit odd if no one has herd about it and theres nothing online.

same here i couldnt give a shit really apart from the massive step backwards it would be for the whole of europe towards decriminalisation..

yeah ive decided, not gonna go to london, too much of a mission, gonna go down west to catch up with some mates and, well i was gonna write take it easy then, but that would be a total lie! 😉 what you doing? fancy tof?

even if coffeeshops get closed they aren’t gonna stop Queensday any more than Notting Hill carnival gets stopped in England….

there’s loads of stuff from about 2 years ago, some of which mentions a final deadline of 2011. I suspect its a rumour exacerbated by mistranslation of the verb “willen” as its really easy to slip up on languages when you have words with the same spelling and different meanings.

Europe (as a whole) has been sliding backwards with regard to decriminalisation since the oil conflicts and economic crisis.. normal society is too paranoid of having to carry loads of lunchouts who try to escape the global problems using drugs..
