Forgive me if I sound rude or presumptuous. I will probably come across as such. But I came on here simply to answer to this post and I will say my say.
You did not cheat on your boyfriend -twice- because you were drunk. Don’t blame the drink for what you did. I’m not judging you, just saying that alcohol may lower our inhibitions, but doesn’t make us do anything that we seriously wouldn’t consider while sober. Anyone who says otherwise is just looking for an excuse to mask their misdeeds. Saying ‘I did that while drunk’ is a good way to mask your faults from yourself if not from other people.
So don’t blame the drink, honey. Blame yourself.
Sorry about this. I know it’s none of my business but having gone through a similar case(like what your boyfriend must have gone through), I just felt like saying something. I wouldn’t even mind if this post is deleted or spammed or anything.
