I don’t believe i could have a racist mind in any way what so ever.. However to day i found my self in an awkward situation. I was walking around a shop singing ‘ ching a – ching cong china man’ right after i seen a Asian man. I only realised what i was singing after i seen him again i felt very embarrassed and had to walk away. I remember a time the same thing had happened to me a year ago.
Now thinking about if i might be racist or not I also can remember getting on to a train and walking into an empty carriage and moving on once seeing an Asian man with a back-pack sitting by himself, I was thinking at the time he might blow everything up ( maybe i watch to much bad news?)
i spoke to my friend about this and he reminded me that i use the world ‘ Nigger’ and ‘monkey’ when referring to a black football player.
In my own mind i despise the racist people and would never amount to their level, But when my brain goes on autopilot and i come up with these insulting words without a thought must mean something?
Well you acknowledge the fact that it’s wrong, so I wouldn’t say you were racist, more like not careful with what you say.. Think before you speak!!
I had a similar experience lol I’m not racist, I don’t think – Chat Forum
In his base form racism is the belief that some races are inferior or superior to others. This can be exemplified by using derogatory terms for other people and comparing them to animals.
So yes calling a black person a monkey is deplorable racism.
Maybe its something you just grew up with and old habits are hard to shake off.

I’m not the only one then.. In my mind – If i was in your shoes in the Asian market I would be thinking “great a white family, at least i have backup’ This makes me sound terrible , it’s too hard to avoid the thoughts.
