peace mate i read your post… sounds like you have worked hard to get back to a non dependant life style fucking good on you mate! i hope it all works out well for you and i tell you what its fucking ACE that you working as a youth drugs worker… i tell you what i recon if kids have an ex addict come into school and tell them how it really is it will put them off a lot better than having some policeman come tlak to them like i had.
glad to see your doing good except feeling sick.
Peace & Respect
J
I hate clucking – im sure some of you know exactly how he must feels right now – I do.
Gary, are you doing the detox dry mate or substituting it with something else, like alcohol? I couldnt even smoke a fag when I was clucking, it would make me puke.
Just wondering how you are going about it mate?

Cheers classb
I dont taker anythin El, stopped all the K and stuff last christmas, havent drunk for years, the only drugs i take now are my .8mg sub a day and Effexor. And a valium if i can get hold of any, i bought a really good digi camera the other day and Im pretty good on photoshop so i play around with pics all day (hence the avatar) and it keeps me occupied.
Im cluckin when I wake up and I start cluckin again about 6pm so I hardly sleep at all at the moment its crap.
Apart from that, life is fantastic, theres no way in a million years I would go back to smack, I dont know what happened but it changed one day, and ive never looked back, I guess im one of the lucky ones. Which is exactly why I want to be a youth drugs worker/counsellor, tell it how it is and educate some peeps raaaraaa
Gary mate,
I believe you 100% .
You reminded me 3 days before my 21st birthday. I just woke up and said, “I’m giving up smack today.” and I did for 4 years.
Try asking your doctor for NALTREXONE – after you are fully detoxed etc for the full blocker treatment and no chance of relapse – IF YOU NEED THAT EXTRA “STOP RIGHT THERE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”
Keep in touch garry dude. We all want to hear how your getting on. Perhaps what you did to make the rattle easier or something and (here is a really big perhaps) a DIY detox diary? What made it easier for you? Symptoms etc and put it in one big diary, wack it on here like you have been. I bet that in a years time you will take a look at that diary and you wont recognise yourself. Thats what ive done.

Well I have to drop down to .4 today argh, ive only just recovered from the last drop. Ive got one box left, 7 tablets! Feels mad, really cool but scary at the same time. I havent managed to get hold of any valium so it looks like im gonna have to stick it out cold. Its hard dropping when I have to go to college and stuff, I cant be sick at school. Otherwise im ok…

Hang in there Gary :love::love::love:
If you have the funds to go out and buy a decent multivitamin and mineral supplement do so as they should help alleviate some of the symptoms of the withdrawl [vitamins Bs, A C and E are probably the key ones right now]
Thinking of you and cheering for you :bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl
Keep at it mate; you are doing great and you will be there soon raaaraaa
I hope you are as proud of yourself as I am of you 😉
