It’s like the police WANT our generation to despise the police. It’s completely unnecessary to bring Tasers and Dogs to a harmless non violent event like this. It INSTANTLY brings fear and an atmosphere to the situation which is MORE likely to provoke violence than the event itself!! Just look at the party.. clearly people are having a good time, nothing violent going on, nice chilled out atmosphere in the sun. What part of this requires Police intervention!? And In what way was this a productive use of their time? Instead of arresting nonces and violent criminals they come to close down a party, seize thousands of pounds worth of equipment, possibly avoid the party goers tidying up time since we are all told to leave the area (a LOT of rig owners in Lincolnshire and East Anglia very much encourage us to tidy up after the last tune is played) and just generally fuck a load of people off. Imagine being in the department of police where you have to drive out to a secluded area of the countryside to close down a harmless party. SUCH BOLLOCKS!!!!

TBH I think it is misguided hate.. it’s not like those police there thought “Fuck it, i’m gonna go ruin a party!”. They’re just upholding bullshit laws, it annoys me when people say fuck the police (though i’m guilty of it myself to a degree) cause they do a lot of good too.

Still really out of fucking order though, but shouting abuse at ’em after doesn’t help the cause either.

I think i was in the moment of raging. Of course the police do a lot of good and stop plenty of crime to make where we live a better place and they are only taking orders.

But saying that there are a lot of flaws regarding the police and judicial system in this country. The way they carried out a shut down of this party was terrible and most definitely further encouraged people to continue the mentality of “Fuck the po-po”.

I don’t see how closing down parties like this is productive whatsoever. It’s very clear that this policy of “No Tolerance” towards raves (in an attempt to scare or disparage rig owners to hold parties) has little or NO affect at all. There are several parties EVERY weekend in my area and they will continue to be no matter what happens.

… well, you could always pop along to a Police Federation do tooled up with a few Rottweilers and cattle prods. Repay the favour, like.

Do bear in mind though, any survivors you leave behind will lie through their teeth on the witness stand. In other words, if you are going to give in to hate and have a “normal” violent reaction, don’t do any half measures or do silly political stuff.

If you do that, then of course the police can claim justification for their existence (“look at what these violent thugs did to honest law abiding police”.

If, however, you film them being the nasty ones (not easy, cops don’t like being filmed) then people can make informed choices about things like paying their local council tax or being a supporter of a society based on intimidation, threats, violence and fear.

For some reason the threat of being tazered would not deter me. Call me an idiot but I kind of want to experience it just to see how painful it actually is.

TBH if mashed I’d be more likely to eagerly charge at the police wanting to be tazered (forgetting it isn’t a game lol), but then I’d be pissed off if they held back or just released the dog instead. I can see a potential buzz (no pun intended) from being tazered but having your arm savaged by an Alsatian doesn’t have its appeal.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I won’t be at the fringes of the party with a horse feed bag full of cocaine strapped to my face awaiting the police’s arrival so I can accept the tazer challenge lol. Just if caught in the moment and inappropriately encouraged by drugs I’d give it a go just for laughs. Well I say laughs but the actual sound emitted would likely be a yelp at best or scream.

or bring in a cute inoffensive dog with a “fetch” stick with two contacts at each end (where a human would pick it up) but insulated in the middle (where the dog carries it).

inside the stick add an RFID reader which picks up the dogs chip, so as long as the dog is carrying it nothing happens. then train the dog to drop the stick at a coppers feet, so they instinctively pick it up to throw it. Except the moment the RFID reader can no longer pick up the signal from the dog, the high voltage section activates and zaps the person holding it..

you of course train the dog to then pick up the stick and run like hell to a safe prace before anyone can catch it, and repeat this process with as many unwary coppers as you can get away with….

Well, there’s your answer. Pre-party ask folks “Who is up for being tasered” and when the cops show up, just throw the The Psyentist at them…

… I don’t think this is a realistic scenario somehow.
